Formulation and method for smoothing and waving multi-textured hair

The present invention provides a process by which smoothness, body and a permanent wave pattern can be imparted to multi-textured hair of all types, from hair having an excessively tightly curled appearance, such as Negroid hair, to hair having a straight appearance, such as Caucasian hair, with substantially less damage to the hair. The process of the present invention uniquely combines the use of two hair structure altering chemicals-an alkaline hydroxide (such as sodium hydroxide) and a thioglycolate reducing agent (preferably ammonium thioglycolate)-to harmoniously bring about a desired wave pattern in the hair. Using the Wave Balance Scale (a hair reference scale) of the present invention, a sodium hydroxide formulation is chosen based on the type and natural curl level of the hair. The sodium hydroxide formulation is applied to the hair for a time sufficient to relax the natural curl in the hair by breaking some of the sulfide bonds in the hair. Then, after rinsing but prior to any neutralization, the ammonium thioglycolate formulation is applied to the hair and the hair is placed on curling rods for a time sufficient to rearrange the wave pattern of the relaxed hair. The hair is then rinsed and neutralized, while still rodded, for a time sufficient to lock in the new wave pattern by reforming the sulfide bond linkages. After neutralization, the hair can be shampooed, conditioned and styled either curly or straight as desired by the patron.

The invention belongs to the technical field of textile production processes and particularly relates to a production method of long-term soft and fluffy and hydroscopic and fast dry looped fabric. The production method includes the steps of spinning, warping, sizing, weaving and dyeing and finishing treatment. During weaving, low-hot-water-shrinkage yarn and high-hot-water-shrinkage yarn are adopted as looped yarn, and weaving is carried out according to a specific yarn arrangement sequence. The looped fabric has the advantages of being soft after being washed multiple times and being hydroscopic and fast dry and low in hair, the drying time is 5 min or longer shorter than that of a towel of the same weight, and the pile retention is smaller than 0.5%. The limitation of raw material use is broken through, it is unnecessary to use superfine fiber yarn or superfine fiber filaments, and the product quality of the looped fabric can be remarkably improved. The product structure range to which the technical method is applicable is wider, and no double-hair structure is needed; the manufactured towel is better in style, and loops are smoother. A splitting process (dacron alkali peeling process) is not adopted, dyeing energy consumption is effectively reduced, and meanwhile environmental pollution caused by the splitting process is reduced.

The invention discloses a hair reconstruction method based on an adaptive octree hair convolutional neural network. The method comprises the following steps: 1) constructing a training set by using apublic hair database, converting a three-dimensional hair model in the database into a hair direction field taking a self-adaptive octree as a structure, and generating a corresponding hair directional diagram, a hair region diagram and a body region diagram; 2) designing a self-adaptive octree hair convolutional neural network to reconstruct a hair direction field; 3) preprocessing the input picture; and 4) carrying out post-processing on the output direction field, converting the direction field generated by the adaptive octree hair convolutional neural network into a hair model representedby hair, and completing hair reconstruction. According to the method, the compact structure of the octree is utilized, the storage space of the hair direction field is greatly compressed, and meanwhile, the memory overhead and the running time of a hair reconstruction network are reduced. According to the invention, the three-dimensional hair structure in the input picture can be effectively identified and recovered, and the contour appearance and texture trend consistent with those of the input hair style are ensured.

The invention discloses a three-dimensional hair parameterization model method based on body vector field sparse localization decomposition, and the method comprises the steps: 1) carrying out the preprocessing of converting hair style data from a node-hair structure to a body vector field, and obtaining the information of hair length and local density; 2) calculating average data of a body vectorfield, a hair length and a local density, and constructing three residual matrixes for dimension reduction processing; 3) performing dimension reduction processing on the three residual matrixes by using SPLOC to obtain sparse localization bases of three features, and performing linear mixing on the sparse localization bases and respective average data to obtain a parameterized model; and 4) assigning different mixing coefficients to the parameterized model, and calculating hair nodes from the body vector field by using a hair reconstruction method based on an Euler broken line method to obtain different new hair style data. According to the invention, a simple three-dimensional hair style manual editing function is realized, so that a user can reconstruct abundant and diverse three-dimensional hair models by simply selecting different feature bases and adjusting the mixing coefficient of the feature bases.
