The enzyme layer has an enzyme entrapped in a polyurethane cross-linked with acrylic polyol. As free electrons are generated, a conductor transfers the electrons to the biological monitor. In some cases, the sensor may be constructed without the use of any expensive platinum.

Accordingly, the metal storage host of the present invention includes a carbonized material in which a transition metal is distributed in a single-atom state, a cluster state of atoms, or a mixed state of the single-atom state and the atom cluster state. Based on this structure, an anode of a secondary metal battery can be manufactured, thereby securing electrodeposition stability of the metal and suppressing dendritic growth of the metal. As a result, a secondary metal battery with high energy density and long cycle life characteristics can be achieved.

In the present disclosure, a method, device, and system for capturing carbon using the principle of a fuel cell are disclosed. More specifically, the carbon capture device includes an air cartridge into which a gas containing a carbon component flows, a fuel cartridge into which a fuel is injected, a fuel cell stack, a fuel supply line that supplies the fuel between the fuel cartridge and the fuel cell stack, and a control unit, and the fuel cell stack includes an anode part including a fuel electrode where an oxidation reaction of the fuel supplied from the fuel supply line occurs, a cathode part including an air electrode where a reduction reaction of the gas flowing from the air cartridge occurs, and an electrolyte part including an electrolyte that transfers metal ions generated by the oxidation reaction of the fuel between the anode part and the cathode part. Various other embodiments for capturing carbon to generate energy are disclosed.
