The invention provides a
soil health evaluation method. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring
community characteristics of soil arthropods of to-be-evaluated soil; the soil arthropods are selected from at least one of diptera arthropods, arthropods of arachnids, coleoptera arthropods,
hymenoptera arthropods and lepidoptera arthropods; the
community characteristics comprise species composition and relative abundance of species; predicting soil indexes according to the
community characteristics; the soil index is selected from at least one of a soil physicochemical index, a soil
degradation index and a
soil health index; the soil physical and chemical indexes are
soil pH, soil total carbon, soil organic carbon and soil
total nitrogen; the soil degradation indexes comprise a
soil pH degradation index, a soil total carbon
degradation index, a soil organic carbon degradation index and a soil
total nitrogen degradation index; the
soil health index is determined based on
soil pH, soil microbial
biomass nitrogen,
soil respiration rate, soil total carbon, soil organic carbon, soil
total nitrogen and soil
bulk density; and performing soil
health evaluation based on the soil indexes.
