At least one network card is connected with the host, and the host is used for running of virtual machine monitor VMM, and the VMM is used for running of a first virtual machine. The VMM comprises a virtual network bridge and a virtual network function module. The network card comprises exchange equipment and at least network ports. The first network port is corresponding to at least one physical function PF and various virtual functions VF. The at least one VF of the first network port is directly connected with the first virtual machine. The first virtual machine is used to transmit data packets through the VF connected with the virtual machine, and the exchange equipment of the first network port is used to forward the data packets according to the target MAC addresses of the data packets, and the data packets are transmitted to the virtual network bridges of the VMM, and then the virtual network bridge is used to transmit the data packets to the virtual network function module. The virtual network function module is used to provide abundant virtual network function processing for the data packets. In a scene of network card direct connection, after the data packets are transmitted by the virtual machine via the directly connected VF, by adopting the above mentioned way, the data packets are used to redirected to the virtual network function modules of the VMM, and the software module is used to provide the abundant virtual network functions.

The present invention is a method for providing address decode and Virtual Function (VF) migration support in a Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIE) multi-root Input / Output Virtualization (IOV) environment. The method may include receiving a Transaction Layer Packet (TLP) from the PCIE multi-root IOV environment. The method may further include comparing a destination address of the TLP with a plurality of base address values stored in a Content Addressable Memory (CAM), each base address value being associated with a Virtual Function (VF), each VF being associated with a Physical Function (PF). The method may further include when a base address value included in the plurality of base address values matches the destination address of the TLP, providing the matching base address value to the PCIE multi-root IOV environment by outputting from the CAM the matching base address value. The method may further include constructing a requestor ID for the VF associated with the matching base address value, the requestor ID being based upon the output matching base address value and a bus number for a PF which owns the CAM.
