The use method comprises the step of placing the citrus fruit fly protein bait onto a trap to trap and kill perfect insects or using the citrus fruit fly protein bait for point spraying in orangery. The invention has the advantages of wide raw material sources, simple process, no environment pollution and low cost. The invention uses the condition that the citrus fruit fly perfect insects need the protein supplementation after the eclosion, the ammonium acetate, the brown sugar, the orange juice attrahent and a small amount of pesticide are added in the beer yeast hydrolysate, both male and female citrus fruit fly perfect insects can be killed, and the average attraction rate is 61.11 percent, and is higher than that of American torula and Chinese sweet and sour wine liquor.
