The technical proposal of the invention comprises the following steps of: building a float bridge on a mud area in a causeway, laying a plastic woven cloth on the mud area, fixing the plastic woven cloth on the causeway and the float bridge, horizontally laying a water discharge branch pipe on the plastic woven cloth, inserting a plastic water discharge board around the water discharge branch pipe in the mud of the mud area, horizontally laying a water discharge main pipe on the plastic woven cloth in the direction perpendicular to the water discharge branch pipe, connecting one end of the water discharge main pipe to a vacuum pump, laying a geotextile on the water discharge main pipe and the water discharge branch pipe, laying a vacuum film on the geotextile, and arranging a water load on the vacuum film. The invention solves the technical problems of unenforceable construction existing in the traditional vacuum preloading foundation treatment method, and has the advantages of simple process, convenient construction and lowered cost. Besides, after the hydraulic filling of the foundation is completed, the foundation can be immediately processed, thereby greatly shortening the foundation processing period, and ensuring that the invention is a very economical and practical soft foundation processing method.
