The invention relates to a sewing machine presser foot capable of cutting threads. The presser foot comprises a bottom plate and a connecting rod, wherein the bottom plate extends horizontally; the connecting rod is arranged on the bottom plate and longitudinally extends upwards; the connecting rod comprises two sides parallel to the extension direction of the bottom plate; the bottom plate comprises a front end with a needle hole or a needle penetration nick; and the other end of the bottom plate is a rear end. The presser foot is characterized in that a blade vertical to one side of the connecting rod is arranged on the side; and an elongated cutting edge is arranged on the upper part of the border on the side, close to the rear end of the bottom plate, of the blade and extends in the same direction with the border. The sewing machine presser foot has the following beneficial effects: the thread cutting blade is combined on the sewing machine presser foot, and the blade is convenient to use and is hidden, thus ensuring that the fingers of operators are hurt less possibly; in addition, a movable elastic protection cover is arranged on the blade and has a barrier effect on the unused blade, thus further improving the safety; and the sewing machine presser foot can be assembled and disassembled freely, and is flexible and practical.
