Automated Content Detection, Analysis, Visual Synthesis and Repurposing

A content summary is generated by determining a relevance of each of a plurality of scenes, removing at least one of the plurality of scenes based on the determined relevance, and creating a scene summary based on the plurality of scenes. The scene summary is output to a graphical user interface, which may be a three-dimensional interface. The plurality of scenes is automatically detected in a source video and a scene summary is created with user input to modify the scene summary. A synthetic frame representation is formed by determining a sentiment of at least one frame object in a plurality of frame objects and creating a synthetic representation of the at least one frame object based at least in part on the determined sentiment. The relevance of the frame object may be determined and the synthetic representation is then created based on the determined relevance and the determined sentiment.

Methods for repurposing temporal-spatial information collected by service robots

Robots and methods implemented therein implement an active repurposing of temporal-spatial information. A robot can be configured to analyze the information to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the primary service function that generated the information originally. A robot can be configured to use the information to create a three dimensional (3D) model of the facility, which can be used for a number of functions such as creating virtual tours of the environment, or porting the environment into video games. A robot can be configured to use the information to recognize and classify objects in the facility so that the ensuing catalog can be used to locate selected objects later, or to provide a global catalog of all items, such as is needed for insurance documentation of facility effects.

System and method for editing image data for media repurposing

The present invention is directed to a system and method which allow for the automatic cropping and file generation of images from an existing image for display on multiple devices. An image, such as a video image, is provided to an Integrated Development Environment (IDE). Next a mask or plurality of masks representative of different displays are applied to the image. The mask can be moved such that the content author can display an area of interest in the desired device. Once the mask is in place a crop is generated based on the mask. As frames are advanced the mask may be moved as the area of interest moves. Again a crop is made based on the mask. Once completed a file of the images is generated for each device represented by the mask that is displayable for the device.

Rapid identification of pharmacological targets and Anti-targets for drug discovery and repurposing

A computing system automatically analyzes various drug or other compound targets using biologic activity data for cellular proteins, and develops a target / anti-target matrix identifying pharmacologically responsive targets intended for drug engagement, and pharmacologically responsive anti-targets intended for avoidance of drug engagement. The system separates compounds into subsets based on biological threshold data and groups proteins through pharmacological similarity. The system ranks protein groupings in generating the matrix and uses the rankings to recommend compounds and compound groupings for testing to treat a pathology. The system compares new compounds against the matrix to recommend new compounds for testing.
