This invention discloses a low-toxicity aqueous extract of Rhododendron dauricum, its preparation method, and its applications, belonging to the field of natural plant extract preparation and detoxification technology. Addressing the difficulty in selectively removing toxic components from Rhododendron dauricum aqueous extracts, this invention provides a detoxification method based on membrane separation technology. This method involves obtaining the total aqueous extract of Rhododendron dauricum, using membrane separation technology to directionally remove toxic enriched fractions with molecular weights between 5 and 10 kDa, and then recombining, concentrating, and drying the remaining components to obtain the low-toxicity aqueous extract. Zebrafish embryo toxicity experiments verified that the low-toxicity aqueous extract obtained by this invention significantly increased the median lethal concentration (LD50) compared to the untreated total aqueous extract, and significantly alleviated developmental toxicity phenotypes such as pericardial edema. This invention features a mild process, no solvent residue, high selectivity, and good reproducibility.
