The method comprises the following steps: obtaining the motor operating state and collecting the structural response signal; establishing a modal database to obtain the natural frequency and frequency band range of each order modal; constructing an air gap permeance modulation model to obtain an eccentricity candidate feature set through two-dimensional Fourier decomposition; performing frequency spectrum analysis on the structural response signal to obtain a power spectrum, and calculating a frequency band enhancement feature quantity in the modal frequency band; matching the eccentricity candidate feature set and the frequency band enhancement feature quantity, judging whether there is eccentricity through a preset eccentricity determination rule, and outputting the eccentricity type and eccentricity degree evaluation result. The application improves the observability and anti-interference ability of the eccentricity feature under complex working conditions, and realizes high-sensitivity, high-robustness and mechanism-explained detection and evaluation of the rotor eccentricity fault.
