information monitoring module obtains vehicle motion related information of the vehicle; the 
steering control monitoring module is used for obtaining whether a 
steering wheel of the vehicle has 
steering angle information; the information 
decision unit determines an expected accelerated speed, an expected speed and torque information of the vehicle according to information obtained by the information sensing unit; and the information executing unit comprises a vehicle speed control executing module and a 
steering control executing module and executes cornering longitudinal and cornering transverse control on the basis ofthe expected accelerated speed, the expected speed and the torque information which are output by the information 
decision unit. According to the system and method for improving the bend performanceof the self-adaptive 
cruise system, the safety, comfort and rapidness of the self-adaptive cruise system in the cornering process can be enhanced.
