The radon gas and radon daughter measuring device comprises a metal hyperbaric chamber, a detector is arranged on one end face in a cavity of the metal hyperbaric chamber, the metal hyperbaric chamber is provided with a first gas inlet, a second gas inlet and a gas outlet, the first gas inlet is communicated with a port B of a four-way valve through a filter element, the second gas inlet is directly communicated with a port C of the four-way valve, and the gas outlet is communicated with a port C of the four-way valve. The air outlet is communicated with an E port of the three-way valve through the pump, a D port of the four-way valve is communicated with a G port of the three-way valve, an A port of the four-way valve is a measuring body air inlet, and an F port of the three-way valve is a measuring body air outlet. The invention further discloses a radon gas and radon daughter measurement method based on the device. The method comprises a radon gas independent measurement mode and a radon gas and radon daughter simultaneous measurement mode. According to the invention, the radon gas can be measured independently and the concentration of the radon gas and the radon daughters can be measured at the same time through one instrument, so that the problem that the radon gas and the radon daughters need to be measured respectively by various instruments at present can be well solved.
