The invention relates to a frequency-reconfigurable triple-band antenna and a method. The antenna comprises a medium substrate, an upper layer radiation sticker and a lower layer radiation sticker, wherein the upper layer radiation sticker consists of a first portion of the upper layer radiation sticker, a second portion of the upper layer radiation sticker and a third portion of the upper layer radiation sticker; the first portion of the upper layer radiation sticker, the second portion of the upper layer radiation sticker and the third portion of the upper layer radiation sticker are positioned on the upper layer of the medium substrate; the second portion of the upper layer radiation sticker and the lower layer radiation sticker are connected through a metallization through hole, thereby constructing a radiation unit; a first inductor, a second inductor and a third inductor are positioned on the first portion of the upper layer radiation sticker, the second portion of the upper layer radiation sticker and the third portion of the upper layer radiation sticker respectively to realize independent control of three frequency bands. The frequency-reconfigurable triple-band antenna and the method can be applied to a 2.4/5.2/5.8GHz WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) and 3.5/5.5GHz WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access), and the radiation direction of the antenna is kept basically invariable.

Triple-band antenna

The invention discloses a triple-band antenna, which comprises a ground plane, a first vibrator, a second vibrator, a third vibrator and a feeder line. A plurality of cracks are formed in the first vibrator which is parallel to the ground plane. The second vibrator is arranged coplanarly with the first vibrator, and is parallel to the ground plane. A slot is formed between the second vibrator and the first vibrator. The third vibrator is arranged coplanarly with the first and second vibrators, and is parallel to the ground plane. A cross slot is formed in the third vibrator. The third vibrator and the second vibrator are connected with the ground plane through a connecting part. The feeder line comprises an inner core wire and a shielding layer. The shielding layer is connected with the ground plane. The inner core wire is connected to the second or third vibrator. According to the triple-band antenna, the cracks are formed in the first vibrator, so that the resonant frequency of the low-frequency vibrator is lowered to a required frequency point; and in addition, the cross slot is reserved in the third vibrator, so that the width of the triple-band antenna is increased, and the high-frequency vibrator meets the operation requirements of a required band. Therefore, the good signal transmission and receiving effects of the triple-band antenna are ensured.
