The invention discloses a
parking brake system of an
engineering vehicle and a control method thereof; the
system comprises a
parking brake which provides a pressure air source for a spring
energy storage brake air chamber through an air storage cylinder, a hand
brake valve is arranged between the air storage cylinder and the
parking brake, and an electric
proportional control valve is arranged between an air inlet port and an air outlet port of the hand
brake valve. The control end of the electric
proportional control valve is connected with the engine speed sensor, the vehicle speed sensor,the accelerator pedal
position sensor, the
clutch travel sensor, the transmission
neutral position sensor and the service brake valve
pressure sensor of the
engineering vehicle respectively through the PLC controller; the electric
proportional control valve is connected with the engine speed sensor, the vehicle speed sensor, the accelerator pedal
position sensor, the transmission neutral positionsensor and the service brake valve
pressure sensor of the
engineering vehicle; the invention has a control method for starting the vehicle and decelerating the vehicle until the vehicle is parked. Thepresent invention can solve the problems of manual operation of the brake
handle during parking and ramp starting of the existing engineering vehicle, which not only consumes human energy, but also has ramp starting
impact or engine
flameout, and even rolls backward, when the parking and ramp starting
system of the existing engineering vehicle exists.
