The invention relates to the field of battery design technologies and discloses a regional design 
pole piece and a battery provided with the 
pole piece. Regional design is adopted for a positive polepiece and a negative 
pole piece of the battery. The pole piece comprises a 
current collector and 
electrode materials arranged at the two sides of the 
current collector. The 
current collector comprisesat least one conductive plate with conducted electrons, wherein each conductive plate is dived into multiple regional blocks, and an 
electron current limiting part capable of being fused to limit a current is arranged between the adjacent regional blocks. Accordingly, each 
electrode material also can be divided into multiple regional blocks. Each 
electron current limiting part is provided with aliquid 
isolation layer, a heat 
isolation layer and a containing layer which are used for promoting smooth progress of fusing. A layer of insulation material is arranged between the adjacent regional blocks. Structural parts connected with all the regional blocks are arranged in the pole piece, so that the 
mechanical strength of the pole piece is improved. Through the pole piece, 
electron mutual conduction in the regional blocks of the conductive plates and the regional blocks of the 
electrode materials in case of an internal 
short circuit can be limited, therefore, an internal short-circuit current of the battery is remarkably lowered, and disastrous problems such as 
combustion and explosion are avoided.
