The invention discloses a frame-type multi-point position and touch monitoring and controlling system and method based on optical sensing and relates to a frame-type multi-point touch detecting method based on team working of multiple optical sensors. The system disclosed by the invention consists of an information collecting system and an information processing system. A hardare frame is configured on the periphery of a touch surface; optical sensors are configured in the four corners of the frame and also around the touch surface; the visual angle of the optical sensors are directed at a vertical face which is vertical to the touch surface, and objects entering into the touch surface are detected by each of the optical sensors respectively; and the quantity and positions of the optical sensors are determined by the quantity of the touch points to be detected. The multi-point touch detecting method disclosed by the invention comprises the following steps: firstly, obtaining the relevant information of an object in a touch zone is obtained according to the imaging information of the optical sensor; secondly, integrating all the information so as to obtain the positions of all real touch points through a detection algorithm, and then carrying out system correction; and finally, converting the position information of the objects into coordinates in the touch zone, thus, the detection is completed. The system and detecting method disclosed by the invention can be used for really detecting and positioning the touch points of any quantity without false point and missed point and with high detection precision. In addition, the manual touch, pen touch and other mode can be adopted with no restrictions on the touch mode.
