The method comprises the following steps: extracting the geometric profile of the chest cavity from a lying posture tomography image, the chest cavity structure comprising a breastbone, thoracic vertebrae and rib structure, correcting the thoracic vertebrae kyphosis angle based on a standing posture X-ray computed tomography image, and reconstructing a three-dimensional geometric model of the chest cavity; establishing a chest cavity finite element model through mesh division and material attribute definition; establishing a spherical hinge between the thoracic vertebrae transverse process and the rib head; assembling the chest cavity finite element model into a whole human body finite element model; and performing parameterized model optimization. The technical scheme can combine real anatomical structure and chest response data under complex collision conditions in multiple directions to establish a high-biometric finite element model capable of reproducing chest cavity torsion performance, so as to more accurately predict chest injury in VRU traffic accidents.
