Cooker to smoker adapter

A cooker to smoker adapter is provided, and in one embodiment the cooker to smoker adapter includes first and second walls constructed to cooperate with a wall of a cooker to provide a fuel containment zone for receipt of fuel to be used in a smoking process. In another embodiment, one of the walls includes at least one aperture to readily permit the addition of fuel to the fuel containment zone. In yet another embodiment, a second aperture is provided in one of the walls, this aperture being adapted to receive a reservoir for a liquid. In a further embodiment, a liquid holding reservoir is provided integral with one of the walls. In another embodiment, stand-alone structures are provided to define a fuel containment zone to permit the burning of fuel while avoiding direct radiant transmission of heat from the fuel containment zone to a food which is being smoked. In one embodiment, the stand-alone structure is adapted to receive a reservoir for water. In a further one of the stand-alone embodiments, a cap is provided on the cooker to smoker adapter structure. In the stand-alone cooker to smoker adapters an aperture is included in the walls to permit the addition of fuel into a fuel containment zone. In the free-standing cooker to smoker adapters, a chute may also be provided to facilitate the addition of fuel into the fuel containment zone.

Method and device for suppressing vibration of boom of concrete pump truck

The present invention discloses a method and device for suppressing vibration of boom of concrete pump truck, in which the boom cylinder is connected with the vibration suppression cylinder; the information about hydraulic pressure in the boom cylinder and / or about changing of concrete pumping direction is monitored by a pressure sensing unit in real time; the monitored information about hydraulic pressure and / or about changing of concrete pumping direction is transmitted to the control unit for vibration suppression cylinder; the control unit for vibration suppression cylinder analyzes and processes the monitored information and adjusts the volumes of the rod side chamber and the non-rod side chamber in the vibration suppression cylinder such that the vibration suppression cylinder may generate a pulsed vibration and the pulsed vibration at the end of the boom is less than or equal to the vibration amplitude caused by the intermittent concrete supply at the end of the boom in amplitude, with a phase difference of 180° between the two vibrations. The vibration suppression method and device for boom of concrete pump truck according to the present invention may be simply configured, easily implemented and operated to effectively suppress the boom vibration.

Recyclable crosslinked polymers with saturated main chain and thermally reversible urethane crosslink points

The invention relates to thermoplastic cross-linked polymer compound with thermally reversible urethane crosslinkages comprising the following essential components a) to d): a) a thermoplastic polymer component with saturated molecular main chain: b) a component containing isocyanate group(s), either attached to the polymer chain or being present in mobile form in the polymer matrix; c) a component containing hydroxyl group(s) either attached to the polymer chain or being present in mobile form in the polymer matrix; d) a catalyst package promoting the reversible formation and thermal dissociation of urethane bonds, characterized in that at least one of the components b) and c) is attached to the polymer chain and at least one of the additives present in the compound is multi-functional, playing a role in more than one, functionally independent processes. The invention further relates to a process for preparing such compounds by: a) preparing a first additive package containing the monomer(s) of one of the components b) and c) to be grafted and the radical source and a processing aid, by mixing the processing aid first with the radical source, then with other component(s), b) preparing a second additive package containing the other urethane forming component not present in the first additive package, the processing aid, the urethane catalysts and, if both the hydroxyl and the isocyanate components are to be grafted, the radical source, such as peroxide, by mixing first the processing aid with the solid components, then with other component(s), c) melting the thermoplastic polymer, d) mixing the first additive package with the molten polymer at a temperature where the grafting reaction is complete within a few minutes, e) mixing the second additive package with the molten polymer obtained in step, d) at a temperature where the urethane formation reaction is complete within a few minutes, f) followed by proper shaping (e.g. extrusion/granulation, injection, etc.) the compound and cooling down.

Computer-implemented system and method for creating an electronic document and computer program product therefor

A computer-implemented system for creating an electronic document is provided wherein the document is generated based on data added to an electronic form by a user through interaction with a computer. In one embodiment, the system is programmed to perform the steps of: (a) displaying a first screen view on a graphical output device, said first screen view including an entry area arranged to allow a user to enter through an input device one or more line item descriptors and one or more first data elements in association with each line item descriptor; (b) sending off every entered line item descriptor and every entered first data element for storage in a first database; (c) displaying a second screen view on a graphical output device, said second screen view including said form and being arranged to allow a user to add data to said form; (d) displaying in said second screen view one or more control elements each associated with a respective line item descriptor stored in said first database, each control element being configured to be activated through user operation of an input device; (e) upon activation of a control element by a user, submitting a request to said first database to read said one or more first data elements associated with said line item descriptor corresponding to said activated control element; and (f) adding data derived from said read one or more first data elements to said form.
