Versatile vibration-damped golf swing-weight system

A highly versatile damper-weight system enables the installation of adjustable swing-weight in a vibration-damped manner inside a golf club shaft. A plug assembly of selectable weight is inserted through a circular opening in the golf grip cap with a special tool, moved to any desired location within the shaft and securely fastened in place in a vibration-damped manner by radial expandable of a cylindrical resilient expandable element. A weight rod, made available in different materials, lengths and weights, is spaced from the shaft by one or more resilient damper sleeves to minimize shaft vibration. The expandable element is secured by a machine screw threaded into the upper end of the weight rod, and is dimensioned (unexpanded) to enable easy insertion and location adjustment of said plug assembly. The tool provides dual functions: as a screw head driver to expand / contract the expandable element radially by axial pressure / release as required, and as a removable coupler capable of pulling the plug assembly (with the expandable element unexpanded) upwardly, as well as pressing it downwardly within the shaft for adjustment to any desired location.

Personal device fastening system

The invention relates to a clip (300) for capturing at least one capture member (401) within a capture zone (311). A gate (320) blocks an opening (310a) of the capture zone to thereby capture the capture member(s). The clip may be attached to a person by way of an attachment member (350), such as an attachment hook. A personal device such as a mobile phone (10) may be secured to the clip via a capture member locatable within the capture zone. Accordingly, the personal device is attachable to the person via the clip when worn by the person. The invention also relates to a clasp (500) that is capable of capturing a detention member (403) within a detention zone (530).

Saw blade clamp mechanism

A saw blade clamp mechanism includes a body forming a channel for receiving a saw blade, a clamping member movably mounted to the body for selectively engaging the saw blade, a releasing member in operative coupling with the clamping member, and a biasing element arranged between the body and the releasing member. A sliding rail is formed on at least one outer side surface of the body. The releasing member has a U-shape having an arm forming a protruding portion rotatably and movably received in the sliding rail. The movement of the releasing member along the sliding rail with respect to the body against the biasing element causes the clamping member to secure and / or release the saw blade. The sliding rail has at least one open end to easily receive the protruding portion of the releasing member so as to facilitate mounting / dismounting of the releasing member on the body.

Hose fitting

A hose end fitting in which a connection body (300) is secured to a hose end (401) by an inner sleeve (200) and an outer collar (100). A radius of an outer surface (201) of the inner sleeve (200) is greater than a radius of an inner surface (102) of the outer collar (100) such that when the outer collar (100) is forced over the inner sleeve (200), the inner sleeve is radially compressed onto the hose end. The outer collar (100) and inner sleeve (200) are locked in position by the radial expansion force of the compressed hose (401) and the inner sleeve (200).

Bellows with flexible stem for saw

Scroll saws produce an accumulation of sawdust or other debris removed from a workpiece during operation of the saw. This debris can block the operator's view of the cutting path of the saw. An improved device and method for removing accumulated debris from the cutting path of a saw blade is disclosed. A bellows is described, comprising a bellows section having an accordion-like structure and a flexible stem having a passage through which air may pass. The bellows may be manufactured as a single piece using a blow molding process to achieve greater structural integrity. A scroll saw having a bellows for removing debris and a protective cover for use with the bellows is also described.

Versatile vibration-damped golf swing-weight method

A method is disclosed for installing and optimizing adjustable swing-weight in a vibration-damped manner inside a golf club shaft. At least one weight rod, made available in different materials, lengths and weights, is spaced from the shaft by one or more resilient damper sleeves to minimize shaft vibration. The expandable element is secured by a machine screw threaded into the upper end of the weight rod, and is dimensioned (unexpanded) so as to enable easy insertion and location adjustment of said plug assembly.

Self-adjusting pliers

The present invention is directed to an improved hand tool for using one hand to grasp a workpiece between a first and a second jaw of the hand tool and adjust the force applied to the workpiece. The hand tool includes a first arm and a second arm, the second arm is operably linked to the first arm so as to cause relative motion of the first and second jaws upon motion of the arms. The hand tool further includes a control arm having a first end pivotably linked to the first arm and a second end pivotably linked to the second arm at a moveable pivot location. The control arm is configured to control relative motion of the first and second arms into and out of an overcenter lock position. Movement of a force adjustor located on the second arm in a first direction moves the moveable pivot location so as to increase the level of force required on the second arm to move the control arm into the overcenter lock position.
