The invention discloses a dual-mode communication
chip of an OFDM power line carrier
wave mode and a GFSK
wireless mode. The dual-mode communication
chip uses an OFDM modulation technique suitable for carrier wave meter reading and a GFSK modulation technique suitable for
wireless meter reading simultaneously; the single dual-mode communication
chip integrates a
dual mode analog front end receiving circuit, a dual-mode modulation demodulator, a dual-mode carrier wave sensing
collision detection CSMA unit, a CRC
verification and
forward error correction FEC unit, a storage and an interface unit, an sigma
delta modulator, a phase-locked loop unit and a power
amplifier unit, wherein the dual-mode
analog front end receiving circuit comprises a
frequency conversion and amplifying unit, a filtering unit and a analog-
digital converter, and the dual-mode modulation demodulator comprises an OFDM modulation demodulator and a GFSK modulation demodulator. The integration level of the dual-mode communication chip is high, the single dual-mode communication chip can not only achieve the utilization of
power line communication in an OFDM modulation manner, but also achieve the utilization of
wireless communication in a GFSK modulation manner, the complexity of a
system is lowered, and the success probability of meter reading of the
electricity information
collection system can be effectively improved.
