The invention relates to an underground communication system based on an Internet of Things technology and an application thereof. Each underground roadway local area network is connected with a surface data center through a wired and wireless mode or a wired and wireless exchange mode. The underground roadway local area network comprises: a personnel wearing node, a vehicle assembling node, an environment monitoring node, a roadway transmission and positioning node and a roadway server. The personnel wearing node, the vehicle assembling node and the environment monitoring node acquire information and upload the information to the roadway server through the roadway transmission and positioning node. The roadway server transmits the information to the surface data center so as to perform comprehensive processing and analysis. In the roadway, double-frequency wireless information transmission is used, which guarantees the long distance transmission and reduces power consumption. The roadway server is gateway equipment which takes an independent roadway scope as the local area network. Mobility is strong. The comprehensive processing and transmission of the single roadway information can be realized. Personnel positioning is combined with the vehicle positioning, which can effectively avoid an electromagnetic shielding phenomenon.

The controller determines that the forwarding path between the source device and the destination device includes N forwarding devices, determines that the number of times to be forwarded of the IP message to be forwarded sent from the source device to the destination device is N, and determines a first forwarding strategy of the first forwarding device according to the number of times N to be forwarded, so that the first forwarding device performs N reduction processing on the TTL value in the IP message corresponding to the IP address of the destination device, and then forwards the processed IP message. And the controller determines a second forwarding policy of at least one second forwarding device to cause each second forwarding device to forward an IP message corresponding to an IP address of the destination device. In this way, the processing times of the TTL value can be reduced, and the consumption of system resources can be reduced.
