The missed call details comprise the calling party address and the address of the first device. A security inspection system uses microwave radiation to image targets on a human subject or other item. The system includes an array of antenna elements that are programmable with a respective phase delay to direct a beam of microwave illumination toward a target on the human subject or item. A processor is operable to measure an intensity of the reflected microwave illumination to determine a value of a pixel within an image of the human subject or item. The invention as described provides a method and system for tokenless authorization of commercial transactions between a buyer and a seller using a computer system. The method comprises the steps of registering a buyer, wherein the buyer registers with the computer system a PIN, at least one registration biometric sample, and at least one buyer financial account. The method also includes a seller registration step, wherein the seller registers with the computer system at least one seller financial account. In a proposal step, the seller offers a proposed commercial transaction to the buyer usually comprising price information. If the buyer accepts the seller's proposal, in an acceptance step, the buyer signals his / her acceptance by adding to the proposed commercial transaction the buyer's personal authentication information comprising a PIN and at least one bid biometric sample which is obtained from the buyer's person. In a transmission step, the bid biometric sample and PIN are forwarded to the computer system. The computer system compares the bid biometric sample with registration biometric samples for producing either a successful or failed identification of the buyer in a buyer identification step. Upon determination of sufficient resources, a financial account of the buyer is debited and a financial account of the seller is credited, in a payment step. Therefore, a commercial transaction is conducted without the buyer having to use any portable man-made memory devices such as smartcards or swipe cards.

This invention relates to a system and method of monitoring hygiene standards compliance in a medical facility in which there is provided a surveillance network having a monitoring unit 3 and a plurality of mobile network units 7. The monitoring unit 3, mobile network units 7 and fixed network units 5 are connected by way of a Wireless Personal Area Network (WPAN), in this case a ZigBee network. Identification signals are sent from the mobiles network units 7 to the monitoring unit 3 and the monitoring unit stores the identification signals in memory and generates a hygiene standards compliance profile for an individual associated with a particular mobile network unit. The hygiene compliance profile may provide information relating to the number of times that a particular individual washed their hands to information regarding the patients that that individual came into contact with over the course of a shift. Reports on the behaviour of individuals or groups of individuals may be generated.

The computer system compares the bid biometric sample with registration biometric samples for producing either a successful or failed identification of the buyer in a buyer identification step. Upon determination of sufficient resources, a financial account of the buyer is debited and a financial account of the seller is credited, in a payment step. Therefore, a commercial transaction is conducted without the buyer having to use any portable man-made memory devices such as smartcards or swipe cards.

A stator for an electrical machine includes a stator yoke and a plurality of stator coils arranged on the stator yoke. An interconnection arrangement is arranged on one end face of the stator yoke. Furthermore, the connections for the ends of the stator coils include connection projections designed such that they project outward at an angle to the respective connecting conductor to attach the stator coil ends. A number of cutouts are provided in the connection conductors and are arranged so that the connection projections are bendable into the cutouts once the coil ends have been connected.
