This application discloses an automotive hood lock, including a lock plate, a hook lock, and an actuating
assembly. The lock plate has a receiving groove extending through its top. The hook lock is rotatably connected to one side of the lock plate. The actuating
assembly includes a lever plate, a first rotating shaft, a second rotating shaft, and a pawl located on the same side of the lock plate. The first and second rotating shafts are respectively located on opposite sides of the receiving groove and extend through the lock plate. One end of the lever plate and one end of the pawl are both sleeved on the first rotating shaft, and the other end of the lever plate is used to connect to a pull
rope. The other end of the pawl and the hook lock are sleeved on the second rotating shaft, and the pawl has a cavity directly opposite the receiving groove. When the pull
rope pulls the lever plate to rotate, the pawl drives the second rotating shaft to rotate, thereby causing the hook lock to rotate and switch between a locked position and a released position, thus locking or releasing the hood lock ring placed in the receiving groove. This solves the problems of cumbersome and concealed traditional double unlocking, and significantly improves in terms of ease of operation, environmental adaptability, and
structural reliability.
