Antenna tuner, matching network, matchbox, transmatch, antenna tuning unit (ATU), antenna coupler, and feedline coupler are all equivalent names for a device connected between a radio transmitter and its antenna, to improve power transfer between them by matching the specified load impedance of the radio to the combined input impedance of the feedline and the antenna.

Method for rapidly tuning impedance matching of antenna tuner

The invention relates to a method for rapidly tuning impedance matching of an antenna tuner. An initial impedance value of matching turning is provided through impedance detection; an optimized threshold value of a matching network is provided through standing-wave ratio detection, and the matching conditions of a circuit are balanced; the matching network is an n-type matching network, a front n capacitor C1 and an inductor L are formed through binary cell arrays, and a fixed value is adopted to a back n capacitor C2; a binary cell array circuit is characterized by 1 being formed by connecting a plurality of branches in parallel, wherein each branch is formed by connecting a switch and a capacitor C in series; 2 being formed by connecting branches in series, wherein each branch is formed by connecting a switch and an inductor L. The method includes the steps of detecting the initial impedance, judging whether the capacitor C2 is connected or not, conducting impedance detection again, calculating the value of the inductor L and the value of the capacitor C1, and judging increased or decreased stepping magnitude according to the impedance deviation degree and the turning frequency band. The method has the advantages of being capable of achieving rapid matching of the input impedance of an antenna, fast in adjusting speed, simple in operation and capable of ensuring the turning speed .

Radio frequency transmitting circuit, bidirectional coupler and directional coupler

The invention discloses a radio frequency transmitting circuit, comprising a radio frequency transmitter, an antenna switch and an antenna. A bidirectional coupler and an antenna tuner are arranged between the antenna switch and the antenna. The bidirectional coupler comprises a directional coupler and a switch, and forward or reverse transmission power is detected by switching the switch. The directional coupler is provided with a plurality of connected coupling lines, which are respectively located at any one or more positions of the upper side, the lower side, the outer side and the inner side of a main signal line. The bidirectional coupler is both used for detecting the transmitting power and is used for detecting the reflected power and outputting a detection value to the radio frequency transmitter. The radio frequency transmitter is both used for calibrating the transmitting power and is used for adjusting the input impedance of the antenna to realize the impedance matching of the antenna. The invention further discloses a bidirectional coupler, which has the advantages of simple structure, small volume, low cost, and easy integration with the manufacturing process of integrated circuits. The invention further discloses a directional coupler, which has high coupling degree and low insertion loss.

The invention relates to a short wave antenna tuner insertion loss measuring device and method. The device comprises an actual transmitter emission and test unit, a signal source and a power amplifier emission and test unit. The method includes the steps that: the actual transmitter emission and test unit is connected, an output power of a transmitter is monitored through a through type power meter, a short wave transmitter emits signals in a frequency point f1 in the constant amplitude, and a through power P1 displayed by the through type power meter and a voltage V1 received by a short wave receiving antenna in the f1 frequency point are recorded; the signal source and the power amplifier emission and test unit are connected, a work frequency point of the signal source is set as f1, and the signal source is set as continuous wave emission, and a through power P2 displayed by the through type power meter and a voltage V2 received by the short wave receiving antenna in the f1 frequency point are obtained; and an insertion loss IL of an antenna tuner in the work frequency point is calculated. According to the invention, the antenna insertion loss is obtained by conversion of an actual antenna emission power value and a receiving value of the receiving antenna when two different emission sources are adopted for emission. The short wave antenna tuner insertion los measuring device and method can be extensionally applied to a scaled model electromagnetic compatibility test, and the measuring precision is improved.
