A permanent marker or indelible marker is a type of marker pen that is used to create permanent or semi-permanent writing on an object. In general, the ink comprises a main carrier solvent, a glyceride, a pyrrolidone, a resin and a colorant, making it water resistant. It is capable of writing on a variety of surfaces from paper to metal to stone. They come in a variety of tip sizes (ultra fine to wide), shapes (chisel point, bullet tip, and wide bristle), and colors (metallic, or ultraviolet reactive). Like spray paint, these markers contain volatile organic compounds which evaporate to dry the ink. Due to compounds such as toluene and xylene often being present in permanent markers, they have a potential for abuse as a recreational drug.

The invention discloses a method for determining companion planting of agricultural crops. The method includes: selecting suitable flowerpots and nylon bags according to the size and the quantity of cultivated crops, and placing two equal-sized nylon bags into the middle of one flowerpot; uniformly mixing soil with organic fertilizers according to the proportion of 10:1 so that a culture medium is prepared, and filling the sterilized culture medium into the nylon bags and the flowerpot; uniformly sowing three first crops in the nylon bags, sowing three second crops between a nylon membrane and the flowerpot and corresponding to the first crops in position, and marking positions by a permanent marker as the shortest distance between each first crop and the nylon membrane is as same as the shortest distance between each second crop and the nylon membrane; respectively sampling and determining rhizosphere soil of the first intercrops, the second intercrops, monoculture first crops and monoculture second crops and soil on the nylon membrane in the suitable growing periods of the first crops and the second crops; and analyzing soil microorganism crops according to soil sampling and determining results so as to determine whether the first crops and the second crops are suitable for companion planting or not. Therefore, the method is timesaving and laborsaving.
