The invention discloses an automatic setting method for a multi-angle
machining coordinate
system of a horizontal
machining center, which belongs to the field of
numerical control horizontal
machining. The method comprises the following specific steps of: clamping a workpiece, and determining zero-
point data of a reference coordinate
system through alignment; and acquiring external parameters, anddetermining a multi-angle machining coordinate
system according to the external parameters and the zero-
point data of the reference coordinate system. According to the invention, a coordinate systemis called in a
processing program to set a cycle instruction input related parameter; and the coordinate system setting cycle instruction automatically carries out calculation and outputs a result toa
numerical control system coordinate system variable, so that the
numerical control system automatically sets the coordinate system. A coordinate system setting operation process which is mainly based on manual calculation and setting in the past is programmed and automated, so that a large amount of manual calculation and manual setting operations are reduced, the possibility of manual calculation errors and misoperation is avoided, and the efficiency and the reliability are improved.
