This invention provides a method and
system for calculating, setting, and verifying the settings of a
relay protection device. A host computer monitors changes in the electrical parameters of a
load model, acquires the electrical parameter information and first
setpoint data for multiple load nodes in the
load model, calculates second
setpoint data, and if the first and second
setpoint data differ, the host computer generates and issues a setting operation task. A handheld operating terminal receives the task, locates and connects to a matching first
relay protection device according to the steps, and sends the second setpoint data; non-designated devices refuse to execute the task. The first
relay protection device receives and solidifies the second setpoint data, and then feeds back the solidified result to the handheld operating terminal. The handheld operating terminal compares the feedback data with the issued data; if they match, the
verification is successful; otherwise, it is abnormal. This invention solves the problem in related technologies where the setting process lacks effective closed-
loop control, making it difficult to detect problems in a timely manner and posing significant safety hazards.
