A single integrated-circuit color camera chip is color sensitive by grouping closely-adjoining light-detecting cells in a photodiode array into triplets. Each pixel of the sensor includes both a read transistor and a write transistor. Each cells in the triplet is similar, but each cell is associated with a color filter of a different color, with red, green or blue cells in an R-G-B system. The proximity and small size of the cells in a triplet allows accurate color differentiation each pixel. Color information is adjusted on-chip for color, brightness and contrast before being sent to an external read device or display device. The color filter is a series of passive layers formed on the integrated circuit surface permitting the selective transmission of light or electromagnetic radiation of certain frequency ranges. An audio communication system including a communication server with an operator interface coupled to a network and one or more audio communication terminal clients coupled to the network. The communication server is advantageously implemented in a PC based system connected to a network. The network may include the internet. In operation the server may monitor the network for a client connection request issued by one of the audio communication terminal clients. A TCP/IP network connection is established between the communication server and a client after said communication server receives a client connection request. Once the connection is established the server displays an indication of client connection request through operator interface. Alternatively an indication of the client connection request may be presented to the operator. The operator then controls the server based on inputs to the user/operator interface. The operator may respond to the remote client either by speaking, by playing a pre-recorded message or by transferring the connection and/or connection request to another communication server. The system may be have a fault tolerant feature whereby the audio communication terminal clients attempt to connect with and alternate communication server if the initial server is not available.

A transmission screen is capable of preventing the reduction of contrast in images due to external light such as emitted by internal lighting fixtures. The transmission screen includes a Fresnel lens sheet having a front surface facing the viewer and provided with Fresnel lens elements, and a shading sheet 13 placed contiguously with the front surface of the Fresnel lens sheet. Further, the imaging apparatus changes the line addition number according to a lens diaphragm aperture size, a defocus amount, or a pixel signal reading mode. Current apparatuses and methods for analysis of spectroscopic optical coherence tomography (SOCT) signals suffer from an inherent tradeoff between time (depth) and frequency (wavelength) resolution. In one non-limiting embodiment, multiple or dual window (DW) apparatuses and methods for reconstructing time-frequency distributions (TFDs) that applies two windows that independently determine the optical and temporal resolution is provided. For example, optical resolution may relate to scattering information about a sample, and temporal resolution may be related to absorption or depth related information. The effectiveness of the apparatuses and methods is demonstrated in simulations and in processing of measured OCT signals that contain fields which vary in time and frequency. The DW technique may yield TFDs that maintain high spectral and temporal resolution and are free from the artifacts and limitations commonly observed with other processing methods.

A display device includes first pixels emitting light in a first field and second pixels emitting light in a second field. The first field includes a first compensation period during which threshold voltages of driving transistors of the first pixels are concurrently compensated, a first scan period during which scan signals corresponding to the first pixels are sequentially transmitted and corresponding data signals are programmed, and first light emission periods during which the first pixels concurrently emit light according to the data signals. It is a problem that each ADC sampling circuit connected in parallel in an interleaved ADC releases an electric charge depending on an input signal when sampling is performed and other ADCs connected in parallel sample the input signal disturbed thereby so that resolution of the interleaved ADC is decreased.

The problem is improved by inputting a common differential sampling clock signal to one set of two ADCs which is sampled at a π-phase shift of each ADC connected in parallel in a time interleaved ADC, providing an individual buffer in a prior stage of an input sampling circuit, isolating a common analog input signal line from an ADC input terminal, and digitally correcting characteristics degradation by insertion of the buffer.

As a result, a sense of resolution can be prevented from being lost during the low-pass filtering process, and the sharpness of the outline of an image can be maintained.

On the other hand, in a vertical scanning period in which the image signal is not output from the CCD, the writing of the image signal generated by the recursive noise reduction circuit to the memory is inhibited, and the image signal is output as an output signal as it is.

The method includes performing by a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) apparatus two multi-spectral imaging (MSI) acquisitions within a field of view of the MRI apparatus, where the two MSI acquisitions have alternating-sign readout gradients. The two MSI acquisitions are then processed and combined by the MRI apparatus using a weighted image combination to produce a final image.
