52 results about "Electrostatic motor" patented technology

An electrostatic motor or capacitor motor is a type of electric motor based on the attraction and repulsion of electric charge. An alternative type of electrostatic motor is the spacecraft electrostatic ion drive thruster where forces and motion are created by electrostatically accelerating ions.

Electrostatic motor

Provided is an electrostatic motor, in which a disc-shaped stator (S) and a disc-shaped rotor (R) are opposed to each other in a vacuum container (11). In the stator (S), first electrodes (34A) and second electrodes (34B), which are attached to electrode supports (31, 32), respectively, and which are electrically insulated from each other by an insulator (33), are arranged alternately in the circumferential direction. In the rotor (R), first electrodes (44A) and second electrodes (44B), which are attached to electrode supports (41, 42), respectively, and which are electrically insulated from each other by an insulator (43), are arranged alternately in the circumferential direction. The first electrodes (34A) and the second electrodes (34B) on the side of the stator (S) are arranged at a spacing of two or more rows at a predetermined distance from the center of a rotating shaft (1). The first electrodes (44A) and the second electrodes (44B) on the side of the rotor (R) are arranged at a predetermined distance from the center of the rotating shaft (1) and at an intermediate position between the rows of the first electrodes (34A) and the second electrodes (34B) on the side of the stator (S). As a result, the electrostatic motor can establish a high electric field in the vacuum so that it can rotationally drive with a sufficient driving force.

Phase change control device and control method of variable-capacitance linear electrostatic motor

The invention discloses a phase change control device of a variable-capacitance linear electrostatic motor. The phase change control device comprises a driving power supply, a current detection circuit, an integrator and a single-chip microcomputer, wherein the driving power supply is connected with the electrostatic motor and is used for outputting a three-phase driving signal so as to drive a rotor to slide; the current detection circuit is used for detecting the current data flowing through the electrostatic motor and transmitting the current data to the integrator; the integrator is used for integrating the current data to obtain electric quantity and transmitting the electric quantity to the single-chip microcomputer; and when the single-chip microcomputer judges that the absolute value of the electric quantity reaches the maximum, the motor is controlled to change phase. The invention further discloses a phase change control method of the variable-capacitance linear electrostaticmotor. The phase change control method comprises the following steps that firstly, the current data flowing through the electrostatic motor is acquired, and the electric quantity is obtained; and then the electrostatic motor is controlled to change phase at the moment when the maximum of the absolute value of the electric quantity is reached. According to the technical scheme, the phase change electrifying time of the variable-capacitance linear electrostatic motor can be shortened, the phase change frequency and the movement speed are increased, and the electrostatic motor can keep running stably for a long time.

Variable capacitance micro electrostatic motor adopting five freedom degree static suspension

A variable capacitive micro-electrostatic motor adopting five-degree-of-freedom electrostatic levitation is used in the fields of micro-executive components, micro-inertia sensitive elements, etc. of MEMS systems. The present invention includes an upper stator, a lower stator, a rotor, an inner stator and an outer stator, and a suspension control system. The upper and lower stators and the inner and outer stators form a closed inner cavity, and the rotor is suspended in the geometric center of the annular inner cavity during operation. The electrostatic force is applied by radial force electrodes, displacement detection is realized by detecting the capacitance differential change between the electrodes and the rotor, and the five-degree-of-freedom active electrostatic levitation is realized by means of the levitation control system, using the salient poles on the rotor and the driving electrodes on the stator Apply drive torque. The micro-electrostatic motor proposed by the present invention can constrain all degrees of freedom of motion of the rotor except the rotation around the Z axis, which not only eliminates the friction torque caused by mechanical contact, significantly improves the working life, but also provides greater driving torque and radial overload ability to obtain high rotor speeds.
