This invention discloses a
polyester masterbatch and its preparation method. The method includes: adding
terephthalic acid,
ethylene glycol, 3-
vinyltriethoxysilane, and
antimony acetate to an esterification reactor for esterification to obtain an esterification product; transferring the esterification product to a copolymerization reactor and performing a
polycondensation reaction under controlled pH conditions to copolymerize
silicon-containing monomers into the
polyester molecular chain; then transferring the melt to a
hydrolysis reactor and introducing high-temperature steam for
hydrolysis and polycondensation to generate nano-silica particles with a particle size of 20-80 nm in situ, which are uniformly dispersed in the
polyester matrix; finally, extruding, cooling, and
pelletizing to obtain the polyester
masterbatch. This invention achieves in-situ introduction and
hydrolysis of
silicon oxide precursors containing copolymerizable functional groups into the polyester backbone, significantly improving the dispersion uniformity of nano-silica and enhancing the
haze, stiffness, and anti-stick properties of the film, making it suitable for the industrial production of functional polyester materials.
