A plastic pallet (10) having good load bearing construction and held together without mechanical fasteners, includes deck boards (30). The deck boards include ridges (24) on an upper side (32) and a lower side (34) thereof. Deck boards are positioned transversely on stringers (12) and joined thereto by either an adhesive or thermoplastic welding processes. The stringers and deck boards may be provided with end caps (26, 42) which seal interior areas of the stringers and deck boards and prevent tearing thereof. Devices and methods for protecting the neurovascular structures about the vertebral column are provided. One embodiment of the invention comprises a neuroprotective stent or device adapted for placement in an intervertebral foramen of a vertebral column and configured to resist compression or impingement from surrounding structures or forces. The stent or device may further comprise a flange or hinge region to facilitate attachment of the device to the vertebrae or to facilitate insertion of the device in the foramen, respectively.

The biocomposite provides a stable interface with endogenous tissue and the implanted composition resulting in accelerated repair to damaged bones and tissues. A method of repairing bone includes the steps of obtaining live stem cells from a patient to be treated or a haplotype matched donor and culturing the stem cells with a biocompatible material. The stem cells attach to a surface of the biocompatible material to form a biocompatible composite. The biocompatible composite is positioned in proximity to bone to be treated, wherein said stem cell provides an interface between the biocompatible material, thus allowing the stem cells provided by the biocomposite to accelerate healing of the bone.

A reusable container for shipping an object. The container has at least an interior and an opening. A flap portion, attached to an upper edge of a container wall, includes a body portion, and an extension portion attached to the body portion. The extension portion includes two adhesive portions. A tear strip, defined by perforations in the extension portion, is defined between the two adhesive portions. When the flap portion moves to a closed position, the body portion covers the opening, and the edge portion moves down into contact with one of the walls, being fixed to the wall by one of the adhesive portions. The tear strip can be torn away, tearing away the one of the adhesive portions fixing the extension portion to the wall, without damaging the other adhesive portion. The container can be re-used, by using the undamaged adhesive portion to fix the extending portion to the wall.

Generally, a table on which an attachment that has been detached from an e-mail message is cross-referenced to its storage location is used. Further, a link is inserted into the e-mail message to facilitate access to the detached attachment. A structure for underwater placement on a sea, lake or river bottom. The structure has tunnels to allow water and water currents, as well as marine organisms, to pass freely therethrough and infiltrate and colonize the openings. One or more hitch points are provided on the structure for attaching mooring lines to ships, boats, floating wind turbines or other floating objects, thereby allowing the structure to serve as a mooring to anchor such objects. Garment with an interchangeable patch system includes at least one panel having one or more openings extending from an inner surface adapted to face the wearer of the garment to an opposed an outer surface, and one or more patches each removably attachable via a front surface to the inner surface of the panel over a respective opening such that an opaque portion of the front surface of the patch is visible via the opening when viewing the outer surface of the panel. To enable the removable attachment of the patches to the panel, the panel and each patch include at least one pair of first and second cooperating fasteners. A clamp for use with metal bar joists (or beams) has one or more steel angled bracket members or plates, adapted to fit under the corrugations of a corrugated steel roof. Each plate of the clamp is adapted to sit horizontally across a top of the bar joist perpendicular to the joist, and extend slightly over an edge of the joist. Each plate contains an elongate slot allowing a bolt to be inserted through the slot. A retainer heel clip is secured to an end of each such bolt. This retainer heel clip is tightened to the underside of the top flange of the bar joist using a washer and a threaded plate or nut, thus providing a clamping action. Each clamp has a vertical attachment tongue section of steel welded to it, including one or more elongate slots which complement perforations that occur along the length of a steel framing angle, allowing bolts to attach the clamp and the framing angle together. A pair of the clamps may be used to secure a pair of support angles for supporting a rod for hanging objects at desired locations within a roof support structure.

A yard waste bag holding apparatus includes a rectangular-shaped frame, two foldable arm assemblies, and a ring with a flange for abutting the top of the arm assemblies. A mounting frame unit attached to a tractor body for enabling working implements such as a front loader and a backhoe to be attached to the tractor body.
