The invention discloses a method for
grafting prunus cerasifera onto a wild peach stock. The method is characterized by comprising the steps that (1)
grafting time is selected, wherein
grafting operation is carried out from the last ten-day period of January of every year to February of the next year; (2) grafting is carried out, wherein a, healthy branches of the
prunus cerasifera are picked, two sections are taken, and two leaves or two buds are kept; b, the
seedling of the annual wild peach is selected as the stock, and the stock is
cut off at the position 5 cm to 6 cm above the root; c, the edge, close to a tree
bark, of the top of the stock is
cut obliquely to wood, the depth is 2 cm, the two sides of a cion are
cut obliquely to be in a
wedge shape, one side is longer than the other side, grafting consolidant is applied to the two sides, the short side is inserted into the tree
bark close to the stock, and the long side is close to the wood; d, after grafting, a film is wound on the grafting position by three circles and tightened; e, after grafting, a grafting
seedling is directly planted on the ground, the distance is 8 cm, and the
row space is 12 cm; (3)
fertilizer is applied.
