The method includes the following steps that: a speech instruction for controlling adevice to be controlled is acquired; whether the identity of a user who issues the speech instruction belongs to a set identity range is determined; if the identity of the user belongs to the set identity range, a customary speech system matching the identity of the user is called to perform semantic analysis on the speech instruction; and if the identity of the user does not belong to the set identity range, a set default speech system is called to perform semantic analysis on the speech instruction. With the speech control method, the speech control device, the storage medium and the air conditioner of the invention adopted, the problem of the low success rate of speech recognition which is caused by failure to recognize the language of a user under a condition that the language of the user does not comply with a selected language system can be solved, and the success rate of speech recognition can be improved.
