A multi-touch capacitive touch sensor panel can be created using a substrate with column and row traces formed on either side of the substrate. To shield the column (sense) traces from the effects of capacitive coupling from a modulated Vcom layer in an adjacent liquid crystal display (LCD) or any source of capacitive coupling, the row traces can be widened to shield the column traces, and the row traces can be placed closer to the LCD. In particular, the rows can be widened so that there is spacing of about 30 microns between adjacent row traces. In this manner, the row traces can serve the dual functions of driving the touch sensor panel, and also the function of shielding the more sensitive column (sense) traces from the effects of capacitive coupling.

In this process a terminal (TERA) sets up a connection (VA11, VA1, VPOP1) to an online data-network access device (POP) via the subscriber line (VA1). Thereupon the online data-network access device (POP) sends current access data to the terminal (TERA), which the terminal (TERA) signals to a service computer (SCP) of the telecommunications network. If a switching center (SW1) of the telecommunications network then detects an incoming call destined for the subscriber line (VA1), the switching center (SW1) then signals the fact that this call is waiting to the service computer (SCP) which supplies at least one predetermined service for the purpose of processing the incoming call. The service may, for example, consist in a message being sent to the terminal (TERA), in which attention is drawn to the incoming call, or in the incoming call being forwarded to an alternative destination (TELA2).

An expandable storage apparatus for a blade server system is provided. In one preferred embodiment of the invention, the storage apparatus inserted within a blade server system comprises a storage system for storing desired information which can be accessed by the blade server system; a control module to control access to information stored in the storage system; and a connector being connected to a middle plane of the blade server system, wherein the storage apparatus is effectively coupled through an input/output module and a middle plane to a blade server within a single blade server system eliminating the need to connect the blade server system to an external storage system.

A spice container storage system comprising of a series of frame shelving units arranged adjacent to one another that slide in and out of a cabinet on drawer guides located on the top and/or bottom of each frame. The front of each frame has a unit retrieval hole which serves as a handle. The device has two positions: a storage position and a spice access position. In the accessible position, the spice containers stored on the shelves are easily visualized and can be removed from either side of the frame shelving unit. Each shelf employs railings and an open central channel to keep the spice containers aligned and prevent them from accidentally becoming dislodged.
