The application discloses a rotating pair water film self-adaptive establishing and stabilizing method and structure, which is suitable for passive regulation of a water film of a relative rotating pair of
underwater equipment. The method realizes the whole process of film establishment, film stabilization and film
elimination by relying on the
coupling of the geometric characteristics of the structure itself, rotating speed and
water flow, and does not need external
active control devices. The structure comprises a fixed fitting part and a rotating fitting part, and the fitting surface adopts an axial segmented same-taper
conical surface, wherein the water outlet section is a water outlet converging
conical surface, and the water inlet section is a water inlet gap
conical surface, which has the functions of throttling damping and
thermal expansion compensation, and is provided with an axial limiting structure to reduce reverse
impact. The water outlet converging conical surface forms a
dynamic pressure water film to realize non-contact support during normal rotation, and relies on
viscous shear flow and
boundary lubrication to avoid
dry friction during reverse rotation by the axial limiting structure. The application overcomes the shortcomings of traditional directional groove structures, such as being suitable for only one-way rotation and poor low-speed performance, and has simple and reliable structure, can be compatible with a
silt-resistant structure, and is suitable for various
underwater rotating support devices.
