This invention belongs to the field of water conservancy and
hydropower construction technology, specifically providing a construction method for excavating a single-sided bridge across a steep folded rock face road
cut. The method includes the following steps: measuring and setting out according to design drawings; fabricating steel beams and installing them at the target location in the
ditch; using machinery to excavate the slope along the designed
route; excavating the slope
overburden and upper strongly weathered rock; excavating the lower weakly weathered rock of the pre-splitted slope, using stepped blasting for rock excavation in stages; and completing the excavation of the single-sided bridge across a steep folded rock face road
cut after inspection and acceptance. This invention solves the problems of large excavation volume, difficulty for machinery to cross gullies, collapse of upper deposits, and significant construction hazards associated with existing mechanical + blasting methods for excavating steep folded rock faces. impact.
