Skin Segmentation. Beginning with a color image, the first stage is to transform it to a skin-likelihood image. This involves transforming every pixel from RGB representation to chroma representation and determining the likelihood value based on the equation given in the previous section.

Apparatus and method for skin treatment with compression and decompression

The present invention generally provides methods and devices that allow more efficient delivery of a stimulus, such as optical radiation, to the skin. In many embodiments, negative and / or positive pressure is applied to one or more skin regions in order to maintain a skin target under tension so as to redistribute blood volume between the skin target and other skin segments. In many cases, such tension can cause a depletion of the volumetric blood content in the skin target (that is, in the blood vessels beneath a surface of the skin target), thereby facilitating delivery of radiation to the skin target.

A method for reducing skin is disclosed, in which a plurality of incisions or removals are made to collectively form a patch of skin to be reduced, instead of making a single large treatment of the patch. Thus, scarring after healing is less noticeable. Preferably, the treated regions of skin are arranged such that a total area of all removed skin segments taken in a direction perpendicular to an axis of said patch changes gradually along said axis. The removed regions of skin are preferably navicular in shape, and the patches are preferably navicular in shape in the event an elongated incision is made. The removal of skin regions can be realized by proper treatment methods such as incisions and laser treatment.

Disposable patch for personal aesthetic skin treatment

An apparatus for personal aesthetic skin treatment by RF voltage. The apparatus includes an RF voltage supply and a disposable patch with an assembly of individual electrodes operative to contact segments of the skin and deliver to each contact RF voltage. The RF voltage may be supplied to each of the electrodes according to a predetermined experimentally established skin treatment protocol. The treatment RF current generated by the applied RF voltage heats the skin and is applied intermittently to different electrodes being in contact with the skin in an order and duration sufficient to cause the desired skin effect and enable proper cooling of earlier treated skin segments. The selected protocol ensures safe non-ablative skin treatment parameters.

Stretch forming method for a sheet metal skin segment having compound curvatures

A method of forming an aircraft nacelle nose lip segment. The method includes bending a sheet of metal into a substantially U-shaped workpiece having a spanwise axis, opposed first and second ends, and opposed first and second edges. The method further includes placing the workpiece over a substantially flexible first mandrel, stretching the workpiece in a spanwise direction between the first and second ends, and wrapping the workpiece and first mandrel together about a curved die while stretching the workpiece. The workpiece is thereby plastically deformed to have a first shape. The method may further include removing the workpiece from the first mandrel, and placing the workpiece over a substantially rigid second mandrel that substantially corresponds in shape to the first shape of the workpiece. The workpiece is stretched over the second mandrel in a chordwise direction that is substantially transverse to the spanwise axis of the workpiece, thereby further plastically deforming the workpiece.

Broussonetia white bast biological pulping method

InactiveCN101158127AReduce pollution loadBioprocessing time shortenedCellulose material pulpingHigh pressurePollution
A glabrous leaf paper mulberry white skin pulping method is to immerse glabrous leaf paper mulberry white skin segments (30-50mm) into water for 30 to 60 minutes under the condition of a liquid ratio of 1:6 to 8 and temperature of 60 DEG C. Untwining the glabrous leaf paper mulberry white skin segments into a fiber bundle, then adding cold water according to a liquid ratio of 1:15 to 25 and leading the temperature to descend to 28 to 30 DEG C. Then a fiber bundle is sent to a reaction bin, accessed to anaerobic bacillus (inoculation amount is 3 percent) and reacted for 42 to 48 hours under the temperature of 28 to 32 DEG C. The biodegradation reaction is stopped when reaching a fiber liberation point, after treatment, the subsequent bleaching operation is carried on. Adding nutrient salt into the reaction materials 24 hours later after inoculation (urea 1.5 percent, K2HPO4H2O 1 percent). The invention overcomes defects of large consumption of chemicals, high temperature and high pressure and high pollution load existing in pulping technology by chemical method in the prior art; also, the invention overcomes defects that in the prior art long treatment cycle is needed caused by using biotechnology on raw material treatment, and low hardness and fiber liberation point can not be realized.

Structure, especially a fuselage structure of an aircraft or a spacecraft

The present invention provides a fuselage structure (1; 1′) of an aircraft comprising an annular skin segment (2; 2′) which has a cross-sectional opening (3; 3′), a pressure cap (4; 4′) for a pressure-tight closure of the cross-sectional opening (3; 3′), and a plurality of tension struts (7, 8, 9; 7′, 8′, 9′) which in each case connect the pressure cap (4; 4′) to the annular skin segment (2; 2′) and absorb loads acting on the pressure cap (4; 4′), as tensile loads. This advantageously means that the tension struts (7, 8, 9; 7′, 8′, 9′) do not have to absorb substantially any bending moments. Consequently, the tension struts can be produced with a relatively small cross section, which entails a reduction in weight. Furthermore, it is possible to produce and mount tension struts (7, 8, 9; 7′, 8′, 9′) of this type in a simple manner.

Aircraft cap rotation hinge device

InactiveCN109279035AMaximum sealingMaximum opening angleAircraft accessoriesWing accessoriesAccessory structureEngineering
The invention relates to the technical field of aircraft structural design, in particular to an aircraft cap rotation hinge device. The devcie comprises a hinge and a hinge skin. A right hinge leaf ofthe hinge is fixed to a fuselage frame. The hinge skin is integrally formed, and two ends of the hinge skin are respectively a first skin segment and a third skin segment, and a second skin segment is between the first skin segment and the third skin segment. The first skin segment is flat and is fixed with a left hinge leaf of the hinge. The third skin segment is flat and is fixed to a cap. Thehinge device does not need an additional accessory structure and does not need to add unnecessary gaps on a structure body and the cap, and can ensure sealing property of the cap and maximization of an opening angle. Thus, a contradiction of sealing property and internal space occupation of a traditional cap connecting method is solved. The device also does not highlight a theoretical shape, and can solve a connection problem of a maintenance cap having sealing requirement with a system that is close to the structure.
