Computer system including core logic unit with internal register for peripheral status

One embodiment of the present invention provides a computer system that maintains status information for several peripheral devices in a status register, which is located within a core logic unit in the computer system. In this embodiment, a peripheral device updates the status register if its status changes by performing a bus master operation to transfer status information to the status register. It then generates an interrupt to indicate to a processor that it requires servicing. When the processor services the interrupt, the processor merely has to read the status register to determine which peripheral device requires processing. This is a very fast operation because the status register is internal to the core logic. No time-consuming polling of peripheral devices is required to determine the status of the peripheral devices. Thus, one embodiment of the present invention provides an apparatus within a core logic device that maintains status information for peripheral devices in a status register. This apparatus includes a peripheral communication channel coupled to a number of peripheral devices. An updating circuit is located within the core logic unit and is coupled between the peripheral communication channel and the status register. This updating circuit includes a mechanism to update the status register in response to signals containing status information received from the peripheral devices through the peripheral communication channel.

Data transfer method and disk control unit using it

The present invention provides a reliable and high-speed data transfer method that achieves a high transfer efficiency and a high application processing efficiency concurrently and a disk control unit (disk controller) using such a method. In reliable data transfer in which, when data is transferred from an initiator to a target, the data received by the target is checked for validity by using an error check code attached to the data, a transfer status indicating whether the data is valid is returned from the target to the initiator, and, if a transfer error occurring during the data transfer is detected by the transfer status, the initiator retries to transfer the data to the target, a data transfer method for logical records that are units of data transfer between the initiator and the target is disclosed. This method is characterized in that: when each logical record transferred by a transfer request issued by the initiator arrives correctly on the target, the target posts a completion status corresponding to the transfer request for the logical record to a completion queue existing in the target; a plurality of logical records in a block are batch transferred; the initiator confirms the transfer status at every batch transfer; and, for each logical record that meets a predetermined batch transfer condition, the target posts a completion status corresponding to the transfer request for the logical record to the completion queue existing in the target upon correct reception of the logical record.

The present invention relates to a donor radio access node (DeNB1) configured to wirelessly connect to, and to proxy operation of a source relay node (RN1), and further configured to forward upstream user traffic towards a serving gateway (S-GW1) during a handover of a particular mobile device (UE1) from a source cell (A) operated by the source relay node to a target cell (C) operated by a target radio access node (eNB2). In accordance with an embodiment of the invention, the donor radio access node comprises: —first forwarding means (FW1) for forwarding a sequence of upstream data packets (P1, P2, P3) from the source relay node to the serving gateway, which sequence of upstream data packets comprising upstream data packets up to a particular packet sequence number (Y−1), —second forwarding means (FW2) for forwarding a data transfer status message (SN STATUS TRANSFER) for the particular mobile device from the source relay node to the target radio access node, which data transfer status message comprising an information element (Y) indicative of the particular packet sequence number, wherein the donor radio access node comprises a forwarding controller (CTRL) coupled to the first and second forwarding means, and configured to interdependently control forwarding of the data transfer status message and of any pending upstream data packet (P2, P3) out of the sequence of upstream data packets that has not been yet validly forwarded to the serving gateway. The present invention also relates to a method for forwarding upstream user traffic towards a serving gateway during a handover.

Transporting apparatus

The invention discloses a transporting apparatus having a transport member provided with a air-supplying-type support portion for supplying purified air toward a lower surface of a transported object to contactlessly support the transported object, and a drive force application portion for contacting a lower surface of the transported object that is supported by the air-supplying-type support means and applying a drive force in the transporting direction to the transported object. The transporting apparatus, by raising and lowering the drive force application portion and the air-supplying-type support portion relative to one another, can be switched between a transport state where the drive force application portion is brought into contact with the lower surface of the transported object, and a transfer state where the drive force application portion is moved downward away from the transported object that is supported by the air-supplying-type support portion. The transporting apparatus is provided with a loading portion that can receive and support the transported object and that can be moved in a horizontal direction that intersects the transporting direction and in the vertical direction. The loading portion, in the transfer state, can be inserted in the horizontal direction into the space below the transported object.

Ant colony algorithm and hierarchical optimization-based whole vehicle logistics scheduling method and device, storage medium, and terminal

A whole vehicle logistics scheduling method and device based on ant colony algorithm and hierarchical optimization, storage medium and terminal, the method includes: obtaining whole vehicle logisticsdata; external iteration, the process of external iteration includes: based on the vehicle logistics data to obtain M candidate allocation schemes that meet the preset constraints; during the transferof each ant in the ant colony, the ants with the largest target vector are selected from the ant colony. When the transfer state of the ant colony satisfies the preset termination condition, the allocation scheme corresponding to the ant with the largest target vector selected during the last transfer is determined as the candidate optimal scheduling scheme of this outer iteration. After the outer iteration is performed for all the targets included in the preset target set, the candidate optimal scheduling scheme determined by the last outer iteration is taken as the optimal scheduling scheme. The scheme provided by the invention can realize the automatic dispatching of the whole vehicle logistics, is conducive to realizing the optimal dispatching, and reduces the dynamic dispatching costof the freight car as a whole.
