This invention discloses a novel
fire prevention and extinguishing
monitoring system for mining air compressors. The
system includes a monitoring host installed in the
air compressor area of an underground
coal mine, temperature and
smoke sensors connected to the monitoring host, an electric valve
assembly controlled by the monitoring host, and a host computer communicatively connected to the monitoring host. The temperature sensors are used to detect the temperature of relevant parts of the mining
air compressor in real time, and the
smoke sensors are used to detect the
smoke concentration in the area where the
air compressor is located in real time. The monitoring host receives the monitoring signals from each sensor and analyzes and judges them according to pre-set
fire prevention and extinguishing judgment rules. When the
temperature monitoring signal and / or the smoke monitoring
signal meet the preset alarm conditions, a
fire prevention and extinguishing control command is generated, triggering the electric valve
assembly to open and spray the fire extinguishing medium, thus timely preventing or handling fires in the mining air compressor. The host computer is used to realize remote ground monitoring and operation of the underground air compressor's operating status and fire prevention and extinguishing status.
