System and method for narrow bandwidth digital signal processing

The present invention provides methods and systems for narrow bandwidth digital processing of an input audio signal. Particularly, the present invention includes a high pass filter configured to filter the input audio signal. A first compressor then modulates the filtered signal in order to create a partially processed signal. In some embodiments, a clipping module further limits the gain of the partially processed signal. A splitter is configured to split the partially processed signal into a first signal and a second signal. A low pass filter is configured to filter the first signal. A pass through module is configured to adjust the gain of the second signal. A mixer then combines the filtered first signal and the gain-adjusted second signal in order to output a combined signal. In some embodiments, a tone control module further processes the combined signal, and a second compressor further modulates the processed signal.

Display device and driving method of the same

A problem in that a light emitting element slightly emits light is solved by an off current of a thin film transistor connected in series to the light emitting element, thereby a display device which can perform a clear display by increasing contrast, and a driving method thereof are provided. When the thin film transistor connected in series to the light emitting element is turned off, a charge held in the capacitance of the light emitting element itself is discharged. Even when an off current is generated at the thin film transistor connected in series to the light emitting element, this off current charges this capacitance until the capacitance of the light emitting element itself holds a predetermined voltage again. Accordingly, the off current of the thin film transistor does not contribute to light emission. In this manner, a slight light emission of the light emitting element can be reduced.

A heat-shrinkable opaque white film of this invention includes a core layer, and white back and front layers, the core layer having a chromatic color impervious to light at wavelengths of 380 to 500 nm or an achromatic color. The core layer may contain a black, yellow, red, or brown pigment. The heat-shrinkable opaque white film in a preferred embodiment has a transmission factor to light at wavelengths of 380 to 500 nm of 5% or less. In another preferred embodiment of the heat-shrinkable opaque white film, the core layer has an achromatic color and the film has a transmission factor to light at wavelengths of 200 to 600 nm of 3% or less. A shrink label of this invention has the heat-shrinkable opaque white film, and a preprinted ink label layer arranged on a surface of the front layer of the film. A labeled container of this invention includes a container body and the shrink label arranged on the container body. This labeled container can prevent discoloration and deterioration of contents induced by light, enables clear printing typically of a design and gives excellent visual impression of the contents.

A device that helps clear a fluid or other material lodged in a person's throat has a barrel with an open proximal end and an opening laden distal end. A plunger is slidably disposed within the barrel such that the plunger, by being manually drawn outwardly, creates suction within the barrel drawing air through the opening. A single or multi-section tube, flexible on at least its distal end, is fluid flow connected to the opening and has a face mask along its length. The distal end of the tube is intubated with a person proximate the fluid or other material so that as the plunger is drawn outwardly through the barrel, the suction created within the barrel causes air to be drawing in through the tube and into the barrel thereby helping draw out and dislodge the fluid or other material. A backflow valve located on the barrel helps clear the barrel of such things as vomit that might have been drawn into the barrel.
