The invention discloses a method for reading ship draught through an unmanned aerial vehicle. The method is used in a ship inclination test, a weighing test, a liquid level telemetering correction, atrial flight or an operation process provided with a water gauge. The method comprises the following steps that an unmanned aerial vehicle is operated, a camera shooting device on the unmanned aerialvehicle faces the water gauge with a draught to be read, and the camera shooting device photographs a reading video, wherein the time length of the reading video comprises N water surface fluctuationperiods; and water gauge readings of the N water surface fluctuation periods are read according to the reading video to obtain N sets of draught values. The method has the beneficial effects of beingsimple to use and convenient to operate, greatly improving the working efficiency, increasing the reading accuracy, reducing the test cost of using a tug, and being widely applicable to various largeand medium container ships, LNG ships, LPG ships, chemical ships, roll-on roll-off ships, floating oil storage tanks, finished oil tanks, crude oil tanks, bulk freighters, passenger ships, special working ships, warships and military auxiliary ships.
