The invention discloses a method for awakening a power line communication network by employing an expanded ISP (Inter-System Protocol) signal. The method comprises the steps as follows: current network equipment in the power line communication network detects whether the expanded ISP signal is received under a standby mode; if the expanded ISP signal is detected within a certain period of time, the current network equipment transfers the expanded ISP signal to a lower-level network equipment in the power line communication network to awaken the lower-level network equipment, and the current network equipment joins in the network to achieve awakening of the current network equipment. Correspondingly, the invention also discloses a system for awakening the power line communication network by employing the expanded ISP signal. According to the invention, the expanded ISP signal is used as an awakening signal of the power line network; the expanded ISP signal is simple in structure, and easy to detect, and supports simultaneous transmission to a certain extent, so that the power consumption under the standby mode can be reduced; the network can be rapidly awakened, and the awakening efficiency of the overall network is improved.

The control method comprises the steps that when the outdoor unit is in a low-power consumption state, and if a starting signal is received, the continuous disconnection time obtained by timing so far from the disconnection from the outdoor unit is obtained; thecontinuous disconnection time is compared with a continuous disconnection time preset value, and whether the outdoor meets the awaking condition or not is determined according to a comparative result; the continuous disconnection time preset value is determined by the time required for a shutdown signal received by the outdoor unit to complete power off of a switching power supply; and when the outdoor unit meets the awaking condition, a relay on a communication line is closed, so that the relay is conductive with the communication line of the outdoor unit, and the conductive communication line supplies power for the outdoor to enable the outdoor unit to be awaken. By adopting the control method, the outdoor unit in the low-power consumption state can be awaken, and the awaking success rate is improved.
