A computer-automated method for locating dummy fills in an integrated circuit fabrication process generally comprises receiving an input layout of the integrated circuit and specification of device matching for the integrated circuit and locating the dummy fills in the integrated circuit according to dummy rules while preserving device matching. Locating the dummy fills may include locating the dummy fills along the at least one axis of symmetry where device matching is along an axis of symmetry and locating the dummy fills so as to preserve matching of the repeated elements where device matching is repeated matched elements. The method may also include designating at least one net of the integrated circuit as a critical net, the critical nets being only a subset of all nets of the integrated circuit, identifying metal conductors corresponding to each designated critical net from the layout file, and delineating a net blocking exclusion zone extending a distance of a minimum net blocking distance (NBD) from the metal conductor for each metal conductor identified, wherein the step of locating locates the dummy fills outside of the net blocking exclusion zone.

Method for planning and executing obstacle-free paths for rotating excavation machinery

This invention concerns the control of rotating excavation machinery, for instance to avoid collisions with obstacles. In a first aspect the invention is a control system for autonomous path planning in excavation machinery, comprising: A map generation subsystem to receive data from an array of disparate and complementary sensors to generate a 3-Dimensional digital terrain and obstacle map referenced to a coordinate frame related to the machine's geometry, during normal operation of the machine. An obstacle detection subsystem to find and identify obstacles in the digital terrain and obstacle map, and then to refine the map by identifying exclusion zones that are within reach of the machine during operation. A collision detection subsystem that uses knowledge of the machine's position and movements, as well as the digital terrain and obstacle map, to identify and predict possible collisions with itself or other obstacles, and then uses a forward motion planner to predict collisions in a planned path. And, a path planning subsystem that uses information from the other subsystems to vary planned paths to avoid obstacles and collisions. In other aspects the invention is excavation machinery including the control system; a method for control of excavation machinery; and firmware and software versions of the control system.

The invention discloses an intelligent monitoring method and system based on a prison event. The method includes the following steps: step1: installing a fixed-type RFID positioning base station in a monitored area of a prison, wherein the RFID positioning base station is connected with a background monitoring system; step2: allocating RFID labels with unique identification codes to management personnel and sentence serving personnel and carrying out modeling on the monitored area and establishing a corresponding coordinate system; step3: the RFID positioning base station capturing radio frequency signals sent out by RFID labels worn by personnel of the monitored area in a real-time manner and the background monitoring system analyzing the radio frequency signals according to a model and the coordinate system of the monitored area so as to obtain behavior characteristics of the personnel in the monitored area. The intelligent monitoring method and system based on the prison event realizes intelligent monitoring and management of the prison event and when an events such as illegal gathering, forbidden-zone invasion, breaking away from guarding and unauthorized off-location and the like happen to the sentence-serving personnel, the system automatically starts an alarm plan so that happening of emergent events is effectively prevented and the monitoring ability and management efficiency of the prison are improved.
