Disclosed herein are free flowing coated particles and low temperature methods of making same. Each particle has a curable coating disposed upon a substrate. The substrate is a particulate substrate including an inorganic material, a particulate substrate including an organic material, a composite substantially homogeneous formed particle including a first portion of an at least partly cured binder and filler particles, or a hybrid particle having an inorganic particle as a core and a composite coating including at least partially cured resin and filler. The curable coating includes a continuous phase including a curable liquid resin and reactive powder particles embedded or adhered to the continuous phase. The reactive powder particles typically include one or more of a resole phenolic-formaldehyde resin, a novolak phenolic-formaldehyde resin, a polyester resin, an acrylic polymer resin, a urethane resin or an epoxy resin. A toothbrush sterilization unit for sterilizing the bristle-head of at least one toothbrush with a disinfectant. The toothbrush sterilization unit includes a housing having an interior compartment. The interior compartment includes a plurality of docking stations for holding in place a plurality of toothbrushes. The invention relates to the preservative coating technology, in particular to a water-based two-pack polyurethane preservative coating and a preparation method thereof. The water-based two-pack polyurethane preservative coating comprises two parts, namely paint vehicle and curing agent, wherein the paint vehicle is prepared from water-based hydroxylated acrylic dispersion, modified resin, pigment, filler, additive and water, the curing agent part comprises hydrophilic aliphatic isocyanate, dodecyl ester and propylene glycol methyl ether acetate. When using the coating of the invention, the weight ratio of the paint vehicle to the curing agent is 74-85:15-26 and the coating can solve the defects of the existing preservative coating.

The present invention discloses one kind reflux type temperature controllable sludge drying apparatus and method. Drying sludge in 5-20 % is mixed with wet sludge and through the sludge inlet with two, one transverse and one longitudinal, layers of cutting steel wires, sludge is cut into small blocks before entering into the rotary kiln. Inside the rotary kiln, sludge is thrown and crushed by the throwing plate and chain for fast heating to dry in the temperature controlled with the jetting blower. Hot sludge from the rotary kiln is blown with the cold wind blower to further dry. The dried sludge is crushed and sieved, sludge with size below 4 mm is pelletized for comprehensive utilization and large sized sludge is refluxed. The present invention can reach ideal drying effect while maintaining over 95 % of its organic matter components.

Casting materials of the invention have excellent performances of condensation, hardening, demoulding, drying and heating and are suitable for high-temperature furnace projects with changeful field conditions.

The subject invention produces a water-absorbent resin by carrying out stationary polymerization of an ethylenically-unsaturated monomer containing acrylic acid and/or acrylate; cutting the resulting hydrous gelatinous polymer; and drying the hydrous gelatinous polymer which mainly contains angular particles having 6 smooth planes. The resulting water-absorbent resin particles are not aggregate, and can be efficiently dried. By coating at least a part of the surface of each of the particles with an adhesion block agent before, after, and/or at the time of cutting process, the adhesion preventing effect further increases.

A drying apparatus has a casing, a cavity formed in the casing for receiving an object, and a fan located in the casing and creating an airflow. At least one slot-like opening communicates with the fan and is arranged in the casing so as to direct an airflow transversely across the cavity. By manufacturing the walls of the slot-like opening from a thermosetting plastic material such as melamine, the walls of the slot-like opening can be molded economically instead of machined from metal. A ventilation system is disclosed for a cast of the type which encompasses a limb with a rigid material such that an inside surface of the cast faces the limb while an outside surface of the cast is spaced outwardly from the inside surface. The ventilation system includes a tube insertable through the cast so that one end of the tube is open to the limb while the other end of the tube is open to the outside surface of the cast. A source of pressurized air is then fluidly connected to the other or outside end of the tube thus forcing air flow through the tube and into the area between the inside surface of the cast and the limb.

This invention discloses a method for producing Ti-rich V-Ti oxidized pellets by chain grate and rotary kiln. The method comprises: mixing vanadic titanomagnetite concentrate with common magnetite concentrate at a weight ratio of 7:3, adding 2.0 wt. % of bentonite, palletizing to obtain 8-16 mm pellets by a disc pelletizer, drying (50-350 deg.C) and pre-heating (500-1000 deg.C) by a chain grate for 12 min, sending dried pellets into a rotary kiln, torrefying at 1150-1300 deg.C and 1.0 r/min for 30-35 min, and cooling torrefied pellets. The obtained Ti-rich V-Ti oxidized pellets have compression strength higher than 1800 N, and TiO2 content of 7.0%, thus can meet the requirement of blast furnace smelting.

A plaster composition for making molds for reproduction by casting is disclosed. Calcium sulfate hemihydrate, potassium sulfate and potassium sodium tartrate are mixed together. The potassium sulfate and potassium sodium tartrate are in a ratio of from about 1:1 to about 10:1. Potassium sodium tartrate is present in an amount of from about 1 to about 10 pounds per ton of dry calcium sulfate hemihydrate, and the total of the potassium sulfate and potassium sodium tartrate is from about 2 to about 35 pounds per ton of calcium sulfate hemihydrate. Methods of making and using molds of this composition are also disclosed.
