The constant volume combustion bomb comprises a bomb body which is internally provided with a cavity serving as a combustion cavity and is in the shape of a cube. The bomb body has six working surfaces serving as main mounting surfaces and auxiliary mounting surfaces formed at eight corners. The main mounting surfaces and the auxiliary mounting surfaces are provided with main mounting holes and auxiliary mounting holes. The constant volume combustion bomb further comprises a main mounting base accommodated in two opposite main mounting holes, a glass mounting base accommodated in another two opposite main mounting holes, a magnetic coupling fan accommodated in the last two opposite main mounting holes and used for driving mixed gas in the combustion cavity of the bomb body rotationally to make the mixed gas form a vortex, and auxiliary mounting bases accommodated in the auxiliary mounting holes to measure the pressure and temperature in the combustion cavity of the bomb body. A system and method for automatically determining a seed vigor index for a lot of seeds by analysis of a scanned image of a plurality of seedlings grown from lot of seeds, including automatically separating and analyzing overlapped seedlings. According to one aspect of the current invention, seedling analysis software is used to analyze an image of seedlings. The seedling analysis software preferably analyzes both hypocotyl and radicle lengths and thus determines the separation point between the two for each seedling. The seedling analysis software also preferably separates overlapped seedlings, preferably using a simulated annealing technique. According to another aspect of the present invention, a low-cost scanner placed in an inverted configuration in a scanner enclosure is used to generate high-quality, reproducible images of seedlings. According to yet another aspect of the present invention, a method of using ordinary germination boxes, i.e., “sandwich boxes” is used to germinate seedlings that greatly facilitate computer-based analysis. In general, this method comprises placing germination blotter paper in the lid of a sandwich box and growing seedlings within the sandwich box in a nearly vertical (upright) position in a darkened germination chamber. The resulting seedlings produce hypocotyls that grow essentially upward and radicles that grow essentially downward, which greatly facilitates image acquisition of the entire seedling, e.g., with an inverted scanner.

The method comprises the following steps of preparing samples of the Atlantic salmons and the rainbow trout, and shooting and collecting sample images through using a mobile phone; inputting the obtained images intoa computer and carrying out image processing; carrying out characteristic data extraction on the processed images; using a principal component analysis method to carry out dimension reduction processing on the extracted characteristic data; using a chemometrics method to establish a rapid identification model of the Atlantic salmons and the rainbow trout; and carrying out image collection on unknown fish samples to be tested, and using the established identification model to identify a category of the unknown fish samples to be tested. By using a detection method in the invention, operation isconvenient, the samples are not destroyed, a detection speed is fast and a result is objective and accurate. By using the method, the Atlantic salmons and the rainbow trout are identified. When a principal component number is 6, identification rates of an established LDA model training set and a test set can reach 100% so that rapid identification is achieved.
