An offshore floating production, storage, and off-loading vessel has a monolithic non ship-shaped hull of polygonal configuration surrounding a central double tapered conical moon pool and contains water ballast and oil storage compartments. The exterior side walls of the hull have flat surfaces and sharp corners to cut ice sheets, resist and break ice, and move ice pressure ridges away from the structure. An adjustable water ballast system induces heave, roll, pitch and surge motions of the vessel to dynamically position and maneuver the vessel to accomplish ice cutting, breaking and moving operations. The moon pool shape and other devices on the vessel provide added virtual mass capable of increasing the natural period of the roll and heave modes, reducing dynamic amplification and resonance due to waves and vessel motion, and facilitate maneuvering the vessel. The vessel may be moored by a disconnectable turret buoy received in a support frame at the bottom of the moon pool and to which flexible well risers and mooring lines are connected.

A stent delivery catheter comprises a catheter body having a proximal end, a distal end, and a guidewire lumen extending from the distal end to at least part way between the proximal end and the distal end. A balloon is disposed over the catheter body near the distal end, and a stent is positioned over the balloon. The stent has a proximal end, a distal end, and a side opening between the proximal end and the distal end. This disclosure describes a work site utility carrier that configures as a dolly or hand truck in its retracted mode and a work bench in its elevated mode. Pivoting arm pairs enable the carrier's lower and upper receptacles to be transitioned between modes. Two “wheelbarrow” handles are pivotally attached at the lower outer end of the upper receptacle. When oriented at right angles to the upper receptacle bottom, the handles lessen the effort needed to maneuver the carrier. In a “semi-inclined” position the carrier rests in part on the handle outer ends, with much of the mass of the upper receptacle already elevated. Full elevation is facilitated by moving the lower receptacle toward the handle outer ends which act as brakes to keep the carrier stationary during the elevation.

A device for maneuvering cylinders having first and second semi-circular lifting members hingedly connected to one another by first and second hinge members. The lifting members are urged toward one another and the cylinder to frictionally secure the lifting members against the cylinder for maneuvering of the cylinder. The invention pertains to a covering structure for covering swimming pools, including several pairs of parallel arches that serve to support flexible panels, the arches being made from a curved profile having lateral walls delimiting a series of parallel guide grooves arranged one above another and perpendicularly to a plane of the arch and receiving the panels, and a protective and elevating border disposed on a lateral edge of at least one of the panels contacting at least one of the internal faces of the guide groove, the height of said border being sufficient to prevent the latter from contacting the profile.

A four-wheel shopping cart includes a substantially rectangular base surrounded by vertical side, front and rear walls to form an open-topped, cargo basket. A grill assembly for cooking food items over a heat source includes a grill body capable of holding the food items and at least one grill body handle having a grip end and a grill body engagement end. The grill body is provided with a handle engagement structure which is adapted to rotatably hold the grill body engagement end of the grill body handle so as to allow the grill body to be turned over on the handle while holding the grip end of the handle. The handle engagement structure of the grill is preferably provided in the form of handle insertion structure such as one or more insertion sleeves on the periphery of the grill body. Suitably two spaced apart handles are provided which rotatably engage the grill body whereby the grill body can be turned over on the two handles without the user altering his or her grip on the handles. Preferably the handle or handles are removably engaged in the grill body such that they can be removed when they are not being used to maneuver the grill body over the heat source.

A sport board control device and footwear combination, comprising a plurality of foot pads with a plurality of hook and loop grip elements disposed on an upper surface. The foot pads are segmented and positioned on a top surface of a sport board. A plurality of segmented foot pads are spaced on the top surface of the sport board, and have a plurality of hook and loop grip elements disposed on an upper surface. A footpiece formed and configured to fit onto a person's foot and including a substantially planar reinforced sole portion and a plurality of hook and loop fastening elements on a bottom surface, so that the plurality of hook and loop fastening elements may grip to the plurality of foot pads with a plurality of grip elements.

A portable dross processing system has a support frame with a base and an upper support. A pair of wheels are mounted to the base, and a steering wheel can be pivotably mounted to the base. A dross receiving crucible is mounted in a crucible frame which is pivotably mounted to the upper support. The crucible has a sidewall and a bottom having a port. The crucible may be formed from a mounting rim of steel plate to which a metal mesh reservoir form is attached. The mesh is then covered with moldable refractory cloth, over which a ceramic wash is applied. A finishing wash is applied to the crucible interior. Preheated dross is loaded into the crucible while in a dross loading position. The dross is preferably mixed with an exothermic compound and stirred to promote coalescence of the entrapped metal. After the molten metal forms a pool in the bottom of the crucible, the port is opened to drain the metal. The port can be opened by a closure plate slidably engaging a pair of channels and supporting a port plug. A metal collection pan below the crucible accepts the metal. A handle affixed to the support frame aids in maneuvering the system. The crucible is pivoted to a spent dross removal position to deposit the spent dross into a container such as a drum.

In an actuation device for a friction clutch which is arranged in the drivetrain of a motor vehicle between a drive unit and a transmission, comprising a pressure medium force cylinder arrangement by means of which the friction clutch can be actuated via a release member, a measuring arrangement which detects an actual release, a control/regulating valve arrangement which is connected with a pressure medium source, with a pressure compensation opening or a pressure compensation reservoir and with the pressure medium force cylinder arrangement and which is controllable electrically, by means of which valve arrangement the pressure medium force cylinder arrangement can be actuated depending on the actual release and on a reference release which can be predetermined, the control/regulating valve arrangement can be actuated via control/regulating electronics depending on the actual release, on an electrically presettable command variable and on a characteristic line converting the command variable into the reference release, wherein several different characteristic lines are provided which can be selectively activated depending on a desired driving behavior and/or depending on driving states and/or operating states of the vehicle for actuating the valve arrangement.
