Antialiased imaging with improved pixel supersampling

An image processing system is described that receives polygonal image data at the direction of a processor and develops antialiased image data for display on a raster scanned display. In particular, the image system includes a scan convertor for converting the polygonal image data into pixel data, which includes pixel screen coordinates and at least one color value for each polygon covered pixel of the pixel data and a supersample coverage mask indicating an extent of polygon coverage within each polygon covered pixel. The image system also includes a raster system having at least one image processor for receiving the pixel data for each pixel, for developing a region mask based on the supersample coverage mask, and for storing the color value in association with the region mask as anitialiased display data in an image memory in communication with the image processor based on the pixel screen coordinates. The region mask indicates one or more, geographical regions of supersamples within each pixel covered by one or more polygons and indicates a color value stored in the image memory to be assigned to the supersamples in a region. This requires only a single color value for supersamples within a region of a covered pixel to be stored in the image memory. The image system can also be configured to develop and store Z-values, alpha values, stencil values, and texture values for each pixel for storage in the image memory in association with the region mask.

Method for detecting abnormalities in an electrocardiogram

A method for classification of ECG beats into normal and different categories of abnormal beats. The method comprises the following steps, performed on a computing platform:
  • a. performing a training phase comprising taking as an input one or more ECG beats that are pre-classified into the different categories, with each ECG beat decomposed into multiple features and defining membership functions for each beat category for each feature;
  • b. performing an operating phase, wherein (i) for each ECG beat to be classified, decompose the ECG beat into the multiple features; (ii) compute values of each membership function identified in the step of performing the training phase for each feature of the ECG beat for the different categories; (iii) merge the membership function values for all features in an ECG beat in a manner as to get a single beat value for each beat category across the features; (iv) identify a value alpha in the range [0,1], such that the difference between the top two beat values across the different beat categories is more than or equal to the sum of the beat values of all the remaining beat categories multiplied by the value alpha and such that a desired percentage of normal or abnormal beat classification is obtained; (v) if an alpha value can be identified, then classify the beat to belong to the beat that has the highest beat value, otherwise classify the beat as abnormal.

General-purpose grating parameter measurement method based on pillar lens grating LCD free stereo display equipment

The present invention discloses a method for measuring the parameter of the universal raster based on LCD free stereo display device of cylindrical raster. The method comprises the following steps: 1) estimating an actual slope angle alpha value of the cylindrical raster based on the total-black and total-white RGB image; 2) estimating the actual line number LPI value of the cylindrical raster based on the total-black and total-white RGB image; and 3) testing the image at multiple viewing points based on the actual scenery, and fine-adjusting the actual slope angle alpha value and actual line number LPI value of the cylindrical raster. Compared with the existing method for measuring the parameter of raster, the method of the invention has the following advantages: firstly high universality for the cylindrical raster with random line number LPI value and random slope angle alpha value; secondly simplicity and convenience, wherein the test picture is not required to be printed, and the parameter of raster can be accurately measured by observing through the LCD free stereo display device of cylindrical raster; and thirdly high precision, the measuring process is combined with actual scenery for testing image with multiple viewing points to lead to more accurate raster parameter which is obtained by measuring.

The invention discloses a combined wind power prediction method based on wind speed fluctuation characteristic extraction. The combined wind power prediction method includes the following steps that wind speed data acquired by training samples are normalized; time windows are established for the normalized wind speeds, and multifractal spectrum analysis is performed in the time windows; the widths omega of singular index alpha value taking intervals of the time windows and symmetry parameters S of peak value differences Deltaf (alpha) and f (alpha) of a singular spectrum function f (alpha) are analyzed and compared.
