Furthermore, new components generated after co-decoction of *Sinomenium acutum*-*Paeonia lactiflora* pair were analyzed and identified, providing a new method for further research on the mechanism of action and efficacy of the *Sinomenium acutum*-*Paeonia lactiflora* pair.
