The invention discloses a temporary plugging ball evaluation device and a method for testing the plugging performance of a temporary plugging ball by using the same. The evaluation device comprises astorage bin, a
cut-off valve, a flow guide chamber, a test cylinder and a pressure relief
pipe which are sequentially connected from upstream to downstream, and a flowing channel allowing temporary plugging balls to sequentially flow is formed between the storage bin, the
cut-off valve, the flow guide chamber and the test cylinder. The storage bin is used for storing temporary plugging balls and connected with a first water injection pipeline, and the first water injection pipeline is connected with the fluid pump. The stop valve is used for controlling the on-off state of a flow channel between the storage bin and the flow guide chamber. A second water injection pipeline, an overflow pipeline and a pressure relief pipeline are connected to the flow guide chamber, and the second water injection pipeline is connected with the fluid pump; at least
one shot hole is formed in the periphery of the testing cylinder, the outer end of each shot hole is connected with a liquid discharging pipeline, and a
temperature control structure is arranged on the periphery of the testing cylinder. The pressure relief
pipe is connected to the
tail end of the test cylinder, and a pressure
relief valve is connected to the pressure relief
pipe. The
evaluation result of the method is objective, accurate and reliable, and the method is beneficial to accurately, reliably and effectively guiding the formulation and implementation of the subsequent fracturing process.
