An apparatus and method is disclosed for forming a compacted powder slug coated with a film. The powder, e.g. of a medicament, is compacted and enrobed to produce compacted powder slugs by preferably mechanically compacting a powder and forming a film of a material, preferably hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose, by vacuum or pressure differential, about the surface of the powder thus compacted.

Etching compositions, curable compositions, packaged products and methods of use for the treatment of bone substrate, i.e., teeth, are described. The etch compositions generally include a gelling agent, an inorganic acid, an organic acid and either a solvent, a surfactant or mixtures thereof. The curable composites include reactive monomers and crosslinking agents that are effective to adhere to the surface of the treated substrate. can be produced in high purity and high yields at low cost, by epoxidizing the corresponding alicyclic diolefin compound with an organic percarboxylic acid. As the alicyclic diepoxy compound lacks an ester group in the molecule, it will show high reactivity for a cationic catalyst. Besides, when it is used as a curable epoxy resin composition of the present invention (2), it will show an effect of lowering its curing temperature or reducing its curing time. The curable epoxy resin composition has high reactivity for various curing agents, low viscosity, and excellent workability. The present invention relates to a method of implanting a prosthesis device in a subject. In one embodiment, this method involves: (i) providing a prosthesis device to be attached to an exposed surface of a bone; (ii) applying bone cement in liquid form to a bone-implant interface region, the bone-implant interface region including a region between the exposed surface of the bone and an outer surface of the prosthesis device; and (iii) contacting the bone cement to the exposed surface of the bone and the outer surface of the prosthesis device under conditions effective to allow the bone cement to cure, thereby resulting in attachment of the prosthesis device to the bone of the subject. An automatic cooking medium level control system for a cooking apparatus, e.g., a fryer, may include a cooking vessel having a first temperature sensor at a first level of the cooking vessel and a second temperature sensor at a second level of the cooking vessel. A reservoir holding a cooking medium, such as cooking oil, may be in fluid communication with the cooking vessel. A controller may monitor temperature data from the first and second temperature sensors to determine whether the level of cooking oil in the cooking vessel has lowered. Upon determining that the cooking oil level has lowered, the controller may actuate a supply mechanism, such as a pump, which may be disposed on a fluid communication path between the reservoir and cooking vessel, which may enable the introduction of cooking medium from the reservoir to the to the cooking vessel.

A sizing roller screen apparatus and method for processing an ore feed received at an inlet is disclosed. The ore feed includes sized ore portions and oversize ore portions. The apparatus includes a roller screen having a plurality of adjacent screening rollers supported to provide interstices therebetween for permitting passage of the sized ore portions between the adjacent screening rollers, the adjacent screening rollers being operably configured to rotate to cause a first sized ore portion to pass through the interstices while the ore feed is being transported along the roller screen.
