The invention discloses a method for increasing the maize seed 
fermentation rate. The method includes steps: S1, maize 
seed treatment; S2, draining to dry maize seeds, soaking in 
hormone mixed liquidfor 4h-6h, and taking out for standby application; S3, spraying an antibacterial composition to the surfaces of the maize seeds, 
drying at the 
room temperature, and keeping for standby application; S4, uninterruptedly feeding warm air at 25 DEB C to the maize seeds to stir until the 
moisture content of the maize seeds is reduced to 16%, adding an auxiliary 
drying material into the maize seeds, increasing the temperature of the warm air to 45 DEG C, continuously stirring and mixing, and when the 
moisture content of the maize seeds reaches 13%, removing the auxiliary 
drying material, and packaging the maize seeds under a vacuum condition. According to the method, the maize seeds are subjected to soaking in the 
hormone mixed liquid and spraying of the antibacterial composition, and accordingly the maize seed 
fermentation rate is increased. In addition, due to 
insect-resistant and antibacterial characteristics of the maize seeds, the maize seed 
fermentation rate and the 
survival rate are increased, and 
economic benefits of farmers are increased.
